Just a general question =).

After we have had Ron Paul as a US president for 8 years, does anyone know
if Rand Paul is in to politics?

I have seen him holding speeches for the Ron Paul campaign and I must say
I like hearing him speak. He is a great speaker.

I think he's in the bullpen. RP will sit him down and tell him the country needs him.;)

Rand Paul is a younger, more articulate version of Ron Paul. He is OUR FUTURE.

The senate seat of Bunning in KY comes up in two years, if I recall. Rand will hand that chump his pink slip. :)

ACtually, Rand is just a younger version of Ron. If you've watched some of those old videos, like the Morton Downey show video, you see how articulate Ron can be. His thought process and ability to express those thoughts while enraged and talking at light speed is incredible. He's just gotten older now and sometimes its hard to find the words for him.

Rand Paul, certainly does not have the sam articulate, charismatic look as his father, but he'll do.

I'm not sure what this means, but Rand knows the issues inside and out, is certainly articulate, and he will get better at public speaking as time goes on. Just look how much better Obama has gotten in only a few months! Rand is not yet a politician, so give him some time.

He intends to run in the next couple of years but is currently helping his wife raise the kids. They're still too young for him to go off into the political world. His missus has the final word on when he can engage in politics.

I agree completely, the only problem I see is the same argument about the same family used against Bush and Clinton would surely be applied to Ron and Rand Paul, regardless of how good they are or would be. Not that it would matter to me but we will definitely here this by the opposition.

If Ron doesn't win then it's moot and then I would agree that Rand needs to get into politics as soon as he can. We will desperately need him then.

They can't be. The Bush and Clinton families have a long history of fraud and abuse, which the Pauls do not.
