In today's issue of the City Paper here in Nashville Ron Paul was listed in a political cartoon which was entitled "LOST". Ron was drawn standing next to other former candidates including Dodd, Tancredo, Biden, Richardson, Gravel, Edwards, Rudy, and Fred.

THEY THINK RON HAS DROPPED OUT!

CALL AND TELL THEM THEY ARE WRONG!!!

I am noticing ALOT of weirdness in Tennessee..... didn't they omit Ron in one of their "candidates profiles" etc..... what is unique about Tennessee that would cause such a blatant stearing of agenda?

Gravel isn't out yet either? I also think I see huckabee between Rudy and brownback, but there is no sign for him.

Looks to me like a total blackout after Giuliani left the race. "only 2 Republicans are still in the race". Ron Paul does not exist.

I didn't read it like that. It just means they think he is a loser. I'm not sure we can imply that they are saying he dropped out. For sure they are jerks, but doesn't justify a call from me.

Remember when they said Dewey beat Truman?

Call them like I did and demand that they issue an apology & publish a full positive article on Ron citing his military donations & the fact that he out-raised every other republican candidate in the last quarter.

Regardless of what they think, Ron is NOT out of the race as all of the other candidates shown there are.

This is a LIE disguised as a harmless cartoon intended to manipulate.

The editorial cartoon that was published in your paper today is very disappointing. On the right side it shows a sign for "Paul", meaning Ron Paul. Ron Paul has NOT withdrawn from the race and will not be doing so anytime soon. He has massive support and many media outlets are intentionally manipulating their viewers to think that he is not a viable candidate. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Your paper has done your readers a great disservice by allowing this to be printed. It is a shame that this type of reporting and publishing is so prevalent in today's media. You should be ashamed that this was published as it is an absolute lie. I have many family members in the central Tennessee area and they will all be hearing about your so called "reporting". I'm sure you will be losing readers due to this. I encourage you to run an apology in tomorrow's paper if you wish to be seen as a credible media outlet.

Sincerely,

Charles

Sad to say, the conclusion I have come to is, people start need to cancel their subscriptions to newspapers that pull this. All have to hit them in the pocket book hard.

With the internet, they are skating on thin ice, and this is likely the only way to get their attention.

The economy is taking a header, and those in these tough times that continue to pull these kind of stunts need to be driven out of business.

New people need to come in and buy them in BANKRUPTCY, and start publishing fair and unbiased news. That in my humble opinion, is what it is going to take.

In all my years, I have never seen such bias by the media.

The sad part is, most don't use their minds to see what is going on with the corruption. Those will be the people, I will have no sympathy for when they are out of jobs or begging in the future.

It is coming, and the ones that are suppose to be aware and reporting on what is going on
will be the ones sounding like they have been hit with a freight train when they wake up.

I for one, don't want to be paying for them to be on unemployment.

Remember when they said Dewey beat Truman?

Or that Algore won Florida... before the polls where closed.

If you look at the bottom right-hand corner of the cartoon (it may not be visible in the online version, but I have a hard copy), you'll see that the cartoon is from the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the artist is Matson. There's a line of copy underneath, but I can't read it. This probably appeared in yesterday's St. Louis Post Dispatch.

What is Richardson doing with his right hand?

I believe his hand is in his pockets. I sent an email as well stating a threat to switch to one of their competing newspapers, the "Tennessean"

This is exactly why the campaign needs to be running national ads.

That was the Tennessean, though, not the Nashville. So still call/email them.
