Maine Election Results Tonight: Maine “Super Caucuses” Did Not feel like they HAD to REPORT the votes because showing was insignificant!

By Highland Mediaworks | February 4, 2008

I called the Maine GOP headquarters and talked to the person counting the votes …as a concerned citizen….about what the holdup is on releasing the final 90% weekend caucus goers results. She said that Super caucuses on Saturday…the “Super Caucuses” are mini-town caucuses…. did not think it was worth reporting their results, because the turnout was so small. (Even though this is a Presidential Caucus where every vote should count)! So, today, Monday, she is calling each caucus and requiring them to report the votes so she can announce the 90% of caucusing that has been completed to date. The other 10% is not caucusing until March, so 90% will be the final count before Super Tuesday. She said that she will have the votes re-calculated by this evening for reporting…if all goes well. She also said the press was badgering her about the results!

Then I called the RP headquarters in Maine, and they said that it was good information for Dr. Paul because the “Super Caucuses” were supposed to be heavily Ron Paul and they did not realized that those tallies were not included on the Sat. night 68% results! Then they said that the Sunday Caucus turnout was mostly for McCain.

This is a GOP Election Scandal. Really it truly is. The Fact that GOP thinks they will ever get the Ron Paul voters to rally behind a McCain nomination or any other candidate, is such a joke. GOP tries to claim all this high grown with the democracy we are spreading around the world, and look such an obvious disregard for the rule of law, and transparency in elections. It is so very sad when we have our brothers and sisters on the front lines in a foreign country as these election officials are warm and cozy refusing to count the votes. this is a total disgrace for our process.

Don't get mad, get out and VOTE, and P.S. get your 10 friends to vote. Just tell them the story about how the GOP derailed one of their own to hand pick the candidate for the people. Because they do trust the people to select their own President.

Usually the rat-pukes at the RNC would make deals to elect the lesser candidates at some other election to get them to drop, but they aren't doing it because their boy, McWar is doing fine, the liberal shithead!

So the 68% showing now. That should turn into 90% after she finishes reporting?

Go ahead and file a challenge. The whole world is watching what is going on with Maine now.

Yes...the 68% should turn to 90%....because several caucuses are scheduled for March. The news about the final tally...haven't seen it yet.. All I know at this point is that the campaign was very concerned about my call and was going to get some boots on the ground to deal with the non-compliance in reporting.
