View Full Version : Do the cops get much education about the law?

There are a lot of police state issues on this board...like the flag desecration issue.

How much legal education do the police get? How well do they know the law? Do they know if a law has been overruled by the courts? Do they just know the statutes? Only criminal law?

The only real education that they get is this--follow orders. The higher ups now follow orders from the Feds in exchange for a few pieces of silver.

They are increasingly taught that we civilians are the enemy, that their job is NOT to serve (and protect) and that they are not civil servants. They ARE the law. Period!

Consider this. I Georgia it takes two years to get a cosmetology license and six months to ecome a cop. Mind you, a woman enraged at a bad bleach job could e considered a potential terrorist.:D
