I posted this over in the "Bad Media" section, but not many people were aware of it. I have screen shot of newspaper scans there with the proof. Basically - The same thing happened in Alabama as did Tennessee. The media has completely censored RP in two states that heavily depend on the newspaper for information.

Everyone should call and/or email the Birmingham News about the lack of coverage for Ron Paul in Sunday's paper. He is listed NOWHERE in the Super Tuesday articles, and is NOT listed in the chart where it compares the candidates. I had multiple people at church Sunday ask me (since they know I am on the ballot as a delegate) if Dr. Paul had dropped out of the race, as they were using the comparison chart to help decide who to vote for! Things like this can really influence the vote - and sink our Super Tuesday campaign!

The Birmingham News is the largest paper in Alabama, and reaches the entire state. People depend on it for election coverage - and they can make or break a campaign.

It sounds like the same thing is going on in Nashville.

They need to know TODAY that we want something in the paper tomorrow!!!!! This is getting ridiculous!

By the way, they are endorsing McCain.

The Tennessean (also owned by Gannett) ran this same garbage yesterday that ommitted Dr. Paul. After MANY phone calls and emails, we have been informed that they are going to re-run the enitire grid tomorrow (Tuesday) and include Dr. Paul!!! Stay after Birmingham folks-the squeaky wheel gets the grease!!

Looks like as seen in other links on the site. Gannett Distribution is putting a mass candidate comparison out as a wire service excluding doctor paul. Everyone please pick a source and find info on how to respond to this papers editor.

Lets check them off one at a time with mass emailing to their editors to do a correction tomorrow.
