A friend just called to let me know that she will be going on the Opie and Anthony show in a little while to push Dr. Paul. I don't have XM, but if anyone does, can you try to get a recording?

Donna is NOT a stripper, buddy. Not that there's anything wrong with strippers...

Donna worked at a variety of jobs. One of the jobs later became unnecessary tabloid fodder and was blown way out of proportion. Donna was a stripper for weekend hours for six weeks. The tabloids blew it up into a three-year full time job just to sell their publications. During this time, Donna had an abusive boyfriend and he forced her to work at the strip club to earn money for him. If she didn't he would beat her up.

i'm a huge O&A fan, but you could tell Steve from Yellowstone was coming from a mile away. not a great place to go unless you know the workings of the show. if you go on, you need to know what to expect and fire back. O&A are the kind of guys that you will earn their respect by going right at them.

Tell that to the 5 fan messageboards they've sued and shut down over the years.

Why do new boards pop up then, if they get sued all the time? I couldn't find a single thing anywhere about the show suing a fan site. Nothing.

No O&A did threaten legal action against a board from years ago that was negative toward them.

And a few other boards were threatend recently. Just last month one admin who did something the hosts didn't like had his ISP, IP, Social Security, etc... private information exposed on the web.

But anyways it was a bad idea to have a RP person on a shockjock show.

A bad idea why? We don't want shockjock show listeners to vote for RP??? I tend to think they would be more open-minded than the average person.

Well look what happened when we tried it on this show. If you heard it today it was probably the most negative anti-Paul stuff ever aired. Mancow, Ron and Fez, Howard Stern, etc... Ron Paul can go on these kind of shows. But not a show like O&A that'll act like idiots and wouldn't debate seriously.

Their politics are extremly bizarre. They don't like 'Neo'-Conservatives but when a Goldwater/Reagan conservative comes along hes hated. Their anti-States right idea is philophically identical to Socialism. Good luck trying to convince the South that gay marriage is 'right'. Or trying to convince the North that its wrong.

That's not exactly "5 fan messageboards they've sued". I did hear Anthony say he went after the guy holding a domain hostage and wanting allot of money.

Howard likes him. But how many registered Republicans are they really reaching? I tried to do some damage control but I had like no notice this was happening. I didn't see this post, I just tuned in to hear a woman talking about Ron Paul and immediately called.

While I was on hold I posted a thread on this board, not knowing this was here.

Anthony was about to sue Froid over since he used the name "opie and anthony" in his website title. However the real reason was for another incident. Its too inappropiate to type up.

But around 5 messageboard admins were threatened with lawsuits at times. Thats what I heard.

Wait were you the one on the show today? OR was that another guy? Because O&A really did bash RP without making any good points. It was pretty unfair.

You might have a point......I don't know anything about O&A, nor did I hear the show today. It just seems to me that for us, any press is good press. Unfortunately, RP's name recognition is still very low

O&A have barely any listerners (compared to Stern). I do know that a large part of their fanbase are devout Ron Paul fans. . This could've hurt (slightly) more than help.

They were basically saying how RP voted against the Civil rights act and saying he was a coward for not taking a stand on issues and 'leaving it the states'. Yeah good luck trying to convince people from the North that gay marriage is 'wrong'. And good luck trying to convince southerners that gay marriage is 'right'. That'll really work out.

I always convince them by saying that it's not a right of the government to decide at all. If you give marriage back to the churches, where it belongs, the problem is solved. The government should treat it as a contract between two people. In my thinking the idea of the government controlling one of the most sacred of religious ceremonies should scare any religious person. Most Christians and all religions for that matter are easy to convince when you remind them that the separation of church in state is to protect the church more than the state.
