Brain Fart - Texting Donation

I was watching the big game and it hit me. Why not set up 4 text number and allow people send donations via text messages. Setup a $10, $25, $50, $100 numbers. The money most likely would have to go to a PAC but its donations.

This would make it super easy for people to send money in, for things like weekly money bombs, special events or just anytime you are frustrated or bored.

It can cost upwards of $2-4k to set up a number like that depending on which/how many carriers you wanted to work with, and you would need one for each donation amount.

I think the idea has merit; but it is unlikely that you would even break even, let alone end up generating a decent amount of cash. This will have to wait till short codes are accessible to everyone.
