There is a direct correlation between campaign fundraising and the nomination. In 2004, President Bush raised $270 million in 2004, and Democratic nominee John Kerry almost kept up with Bush at $235 million.

There is no country in the world where elections are so closely impacted by fundraising, and there are no elections that have so much campaign money involved. As 2004 began, Howard Dean raised $40 million; Hilary Clinton (before 2008) had $36 million.

Ron Paul didn't become top tier until his first fundraising boost. It's time for another HUGE boost to gain him the nomination.
