View Full Version : The Official "My Donation Didn't Show up on the FEC Report" Thread

All of my donations from last quarter have showed up in the FEC reports, but the donations that my mother made have not appeared. I saw a few posts yesterday where there were a handful of people whose donations didn't show up either. Perhaps if we could all chime in here we might be able to get to the bottom of this.

You need to give at least $200 in a single donation to appear in the FEC report.

Not quite. You can give 200 $1 donations and you'll show up. You need to break the $200 total barrier to get your donations officially listed and itemized.

It's over 15,000 pages of donations. Either the FEC or the campaign screwed up, or both. Would be interesting to know which.

Not true. I gave a few 100 dollar donations and they showed up.

I gave 4 times Q4 for a total of $1000. It only listed $400.

It'd be nice to know that the money donated is accounted for. Wouldn't you be a little concerned if the money you donated (if any at all) didn't show up?

My Dad and I both have the same name, and live in the same house. Our donations were lumped together. haha

Don't worry about it. Not all of mine showed up either. You don't necessarily want to be on the list. I guarantee that the GOP will use the FEC lists to solicit for money during the general election. You'll save yourself from the harassing phone calls and junk mail. Remember, polical groups are exempt from the DNC list.

i donated 350$ in total of last year, and I'm not showing up for Q2 and Q4

You only show up in the quarter(s) when you make a donation, once your total exceeds $200.

I donated twice, $100 each, during the Tea Party. Only one of those donations shows up.
