I'm watching McCain on Fox (OK slap me twice), and when he was talking about taxcuts he said "we need to get rid of the ATM" as part of his rambling response.
I've never heard of the ATM, is this a blunder or some agency I've never heard of?

Hmmm, in the next segment in another rant he said we need to get rid of the AMT. Never heard of that one either.

He's trying to sound economically savvy.

Yeah, I've heard McBabble say ATM before when referring to AMT (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternative_Minimum_Tax)...He is a moron. I believe he did it once or twice during the debate the other night.

They(rich & wealthy) try to promote the Alt. Min. Tax as affecting the middle class poorly, but it really affects the wealthy. So ending it helps the rich for the most part. McCain needs income taxes and wants to switch the burden from the rich to the middle class.
