Seems like a no-brainer, but I just wondered if the campaign has a lawyer on staff. Might be a good expenditure if we don't.

Yes, it is a no-brainer. They have had a lawyer on staff from the beginning.

Are you talking about that thread where people were asking about scanning the cover and the article and then there was a fear of copyright issues?
If so.....Why in the world would you want to waste the attorneys time with such an absurd question.
What is the worst that could happen if someone would have scanned it in? Probably just asked to take it down. Realistically, there was no problem posting it. I think the RP staff attorneys have other things to worry about.
