I told her about the 10th amendment and she said this:

"I think it is fine for states to handle some things but I get worried about disparities between states -- imagine if one state was such a great place to live that they began to charge large impact fees to move there or if you had to apply to live there? "

What are the responses for this? I think that there is already a large disparity between the states and people can move wherever they want. I'll repond to her with that and whatever you guys come up with.

This is a ridiculous concern. I believe it would be unconstitutional anyway. But so what if there is some disparity? A free market creates differences and choices.

The constitution guarantees free movement among the several states.
