To any of you planning on caucusing Tuesday for Ron Paul please take an hour and review many of the threads on the Maine primaries. Although caucus rules differ, you could learn some valuable tips that may help you Tuesday.
Here are a few (obvious but bear repeating):
1) Show up and bring others even if they don't care - definitely half the battle. Friends and family would at least vote to elect you a delegate even if they don't support RP.
2) Give a speech if given the opportunity. Keep it short, pushing lots of generalities like freedom, following the Constitution, and limited government.
3) Be polite but tough as nails and willing to fight for delegates if necessary. A few ME groups had to do this and it worked.
4) Do you best and don't be discouraged. We're all in this and learning together. Caucus states are our best hope as they rely on only the most passionate GOP members - RP followers qualify for this more than the other candidates as has been borne out in other caucuses.
