Say Obama copies every single one of Ron Paul's ideas (because he is a smarmy faker and liar and loser and totally untrustworthy person whose career needs to be permanently crippled).

Say Obama packed all of Ron Paul's ideas into his little smug presidential campaign with all its fake platitudes.

Would you then vote for Obama or Dr Paul?

ron means what he say and does what he say.
Obama does not.

Actually, Obama's Economic Advisor is Austan Goolsbee, who studied under Milton Friedman and is a professor at the University of Chicago. So I'd rather have a modified Monetarist economic policy (Obama) than a Keynesian (All the rest). But, this is all premature, and RP is still gonna win!

I voted for Obama in this scenario because if he imported all of Dr. Paul's ideas, then he is more electable for ONE reason. Youth. He's mid-forties, so he could lead the RPR for decades.

As Ron has said...it isn't the man, it is the message. If the man were different, and the message the same, then I'm all for it.

Give Obama a couple of more terms in the Senate actually VOTING like Ron Paul and I'll think about it.

its not about copying ideas... its about a 30 year voting record!

Obama is too much into the welfare state, he doesnt understand that free markets is the truly compasionate system

Obama is involved with globalists (and wife is member of Chicago CFR branch) and is compromised, and socialist to begin with. If he started talking somewhat like Ron he would be pandering just to get votes. This poll is a joke!

Obama is a big government globalist. He is NOT going to copy all of Ron Paul ideas. If he copied them he would only be using them to get elected.

If Obama aligned with Ron Paul he would forever be called a flip flopper.

I heard on the mainstream media this week that Obama has the MOST liberal voting record in the senate. No I don't think I'll be voting for him anytime soon. A lepard doesn't change his spots.

Obama is a Socialist, for crying out loud! Always has been, always will be. He will NEVER copy Paul's philosophy.

People need to STOP looking to the Democrat Party, and STOP considering them an option.

It's insane.

This post makes absolutely no sense. If he copied Ron's ideas he wouldn't be a democrat.

Obama is a socialist. Ron Paul is a capitalist.
Obama is an anti-2nd Amendment gun grabber.
Ron Paul has never voted for any measure which violates ANY enumerated right which we find in the Constitution.

Obama wouldn't copy Ron Paul, because he disagrees with EVERYTHING Ron Paul stands for and believes in.

A good idea would be to study both candidates vote history previous to voting.
