Despite the topic title's feel to it, I'm making a website. Right? Yes, I made another topic about this to get help, but I got no help, so now I'm on my own, and I need ideas. The website, if you're interested, is as follows: http://thetruthifyoucanhandleit.webs.com/

Now instead of my explaining what it is, I'll simply copy and paste the above paragraph from the mission statement: " This website has one goal, and that one goal is to educate every American as to what is going on in our nation, how they've been brainwashed, and what they should know to stay informed. We are not nuts. We are not crazy. What you will read is a point by point plan to educate you or a friend. Send it to family members. Send it to friends. This website takes into account the ignorance and disbelief that some might feel when reading certain things. We have taken this into account, and created the perfect step by step plan to awaken you, a friend, or a family member. The research you will see on this website was thorough, and the proof of such things can be found even in government documents. Refer your friends. Your relatives. Close family members. Every American should know what's facing our nation, and what we need to do in order to fix our great nation."

So really, it's an x point plan to get Americans educated. Right? It's going to be big. But I need help with the first step.

The first step needs to consist of information portraying the real America to citizens who have had absolutely no exposure to online news sources, always get their news from FOX and CNN and such, etcetera. The beginning information cannot be anything huge like monetary policy type stuff. It's got to be just soft enough for the average American to believe and be willing to research. So please. Anyone that's willing to help me brainstorm, please. I need ideas for my step one. Just ideas that the the average American will believe, just to start them off.

And that isn't the point. What I need is ideas to get the first step going. It needs to be believable for the average American, but just enough to make them research it. Nothing about the monetary system just yet. Just basic stuff. I just can't think of anything just yet.

is there a way to do a summary along with the story and references, so the hurried reader, or the low tolerance reader can get to the point quickly, and then perhaps decide to read the whole thing?
i read a great deal, but often wish someone would just tell me what its all about so i do not have to read several pages to find out.

there are so many red white and blue sites, it's getting confusing. tan and green, or something calming while people read alarming news.

Well I would ensure there are a lot of "Hard sources" , most Americans are tired of the "This smart sounding guy said this" and "This professor said that"
By "Hard Sources" I mean links to unedited interviews, and links to .gov websites so they can see the facts as they are.
It becomes very simple for people to reason it out when they see our debt to pay ratio.

Provide graphs if you can of things like the gold backed dollar vs fiat dollar.

One of the big concepts we don't understand as a nation is oil trade being done in USA dollar. it's very hard to explain how this simple thing affects the entire world and our position in it.

As for Color Code, sample either something like this forum, or just http://slashdot.org ; maybe LewRockwell as an example. All of which are fairly easy on the eyes; IMHO, and allow for easy naviagation. Your layout looks good, at least for now; but the color scheme is a bit painful.

The title fonts lead me to think "Asian porn site", or something. Maybe look for something a bit more professiona; nothing special, just a bit more...clean?

i understand and agree. i was unclear.
what i mean is to publish news concening these sorts of issues when they come up, and sites such as these are reliable.

what i feel is important is that people are unaware of what is being done behind their backs concerning food and food supplements. i find that when i bring up these topics, a specific news item, like something the fda were up to to stop our access to food supplements, for example, or what is new about the NAIS, that the conversation ends up about the elections, since People get angry and want to do something.

i think food is an urgent thng, and think people are sick and apathetic because of diet and various toxins.

thuja I agree, with what you are saying then. Food affects all of us and is a common issue to be a good starting point. The best way to handle some of these issues is to take a step back and point out how less government control leads to better food. Hell it doesn't take much to explain that, I can go to south America and get better food than anywhere here.

probably best not to start of with what corporations are doing in stealth, meaning not to be overtly claiming conspiracy.
perhaps just an article when something comes up, and maybe... another poll? let the reader decide?

anyway, now maybe an article about voting machines?

about the new drivng license and related pivacy issues, such as medical or financial info getting on such ID?

about how being overweight may stop people fom eating out due to proposed new laws?

i wonder if you can say things about the constitution without mentioning the constitution. (ha ha) it seems that saying things about the constitution makes one a terorist. maybe THAT should be mentioned.

there are so many constitution experts here, but people should be made aware of this. it may bring back some memories of a nicer time.

All right. Here's what I have decided to make the format he.

Step 1: Showing all of the infringements on the constitution and Bill of Rights.
Step 2: Plunging into the monetary system, and explaining how the federal reserve, IRS, etcetera are illegal, and devalue the currency.
Step 3: Patriot Act, and all other similar acts. Explain how Bush recently pardoned himself of all war crimes. Show CREDIBLE PROOF for the average American of everything.
Step 4: The Iraq war, the war on terrorism (how it's used as an excuse) etcetera. DO NOT delve into "new world order" sort of stuff. Explain the fallacy of, "We have to fight them over there so they don't come here." Delve into how "terrorism" is being used to pass illegal laws.
Step 5: Corruption in corporations, medical industry, politics, the Clinton's and their crimes, etcetera. Explain the income tax, and how it's illegal.
Step 6: North American Union, NAFTA, NAFTA Super Highway, etcetera. Don't mention "merge into one nation." Only mention the black and white facts that it would create a Union similar to the EU.
Step 7: FEMA Camps and National ID Card. Mention how the National ID Card (Real ID Act) is similar to 'papers' in Nazi Germany, and how "this is not what a free society is all about." Make references to founding fathers quotes.
Step 8: RFID (Nothing major, just a skim over of it, nothing major to really scare people, just the black and white facts on it. Be VERY black and white!) use COMPLETELY CREDIBLE sources and information for the average American.
Step 7: The real possibility of Socialism in America if we don't act fast.
Step 8: Just a brief list of movies and clips to further explain this. Include, "Arron Russo's Freedom to Socialism."


Please. I need someone to help me out with all of this. It will take me weeks to get together all of the research and write it up. Please. This project will be huge. By writing up just one step, you'd be doing me a huge favor. Please. I need as much help as I can get for each of these sections. Please. I promise this will be huge, and hopefully awaken more Americans that we can all hope for. I just need help with writing each section up. Please.
