The small buisness that I own is kind of the headquarters for our grassroots campaign here in SW Washington/NW Oregon. I got a phone call today while at work. This person asked for me by my first name (I go by my middle), so I asked who was calling.
"I'm a volunteer for the Ron Paul campaign."
At this point I go from store owner to Ron Paul volunteer.
Great! You need any signs? Slim Jims? Bumper Stickers? Our team is out canvassing right now but we're going out tommorrow too! Do you know about our weekly meetings here to go over caucus rules?
"Umm...I guess I don't need to ask you if you'll be supporting Ron Paul this election."
Well, it was still nice to get a phone call. The people here in Washington are working hard! :D Plus, I'm sure that she was happy to run into a supporter too :)
