Two more fixes and Tancredo will be in the middle.

k, first I thought you were joking, but that is a photoshoped image with Tancredo stuck in there.
Odd that they would take the time to edit an existing image instead of using one that just had everyone in there.
Just another lesson not to assume everything you see is real.

Photo manipulation is being used that liberally now?

That's disturbing! I mean, it wasn't even "necessary" for any conceivable reason.

I was gonna say that! They photoshopped Tom Tancredo!

Then again, they also slimmed down Katie Couric and they constantly airbrush Hillary.

Whats even more incredible and funny is that they had to use Tommy Thompson's right leg to make a right leg for Tancredo (Look they are exactly the same) plus the put a copy of Thompson's leg over Tancredo's right hand to make it look like his hand was in his pocket when it really wasn't. Look at first Photo. :D :D :D

The AP manipulates images all the time. Remember about the controversy over an AP (I think it was AP) editing a bombed area in the Middle East to make it look a lot worse?

They also gave the camera man on the left side of the picture a mo hawk in the second photo. He looks like he should be photographing for MTV.

That's abhorrent! There's so much potential for abuse it's sickening.

In this day and age when many people find the "free press" lacking integrity this doesn't make on feel better.

Internet freedom is more important than ever.

We know the truth and it should be a big concern to them very much. They should be very afraid of the revolution. To many are awake and will not let this be at the end. For these stations and news broadcasters will be marked at the end as traitors. Dr. Ron Paul is the last peaceful chance we got.

awesome, lets email the Daily Show: thedailyshow@comedycentral.com

so they can make fun of the AP and include Ron Paul's name.

We need to send this to the Daily Show.

At first I thought it was funny, but after think about it and Kuld's post, I'm shuddering.

Its just incredible. I mean what can the photographers do before the AP even gets it. And everything starts like this, well will just move this guy over a little here, or a little there. Its sickening. :(

I think the mohawk might be from the photographers grey sweater that was in front of Tancredo. I also just noticed that he is now standing in front of the the camera that the camera man is holding, notice that the flash unit is square in the first pic, but obscured in the second by Tancredo.

Someone should post this over to Drudge or someone who enjoys ripping apart the press for manipulating photos. Give em the link here, we can use the free press.

Do we have a source where this photo can be seen in the wild?

This photo also adds about 3 inches to Tancredo's height. Look he is shorter in the first one.

Very, but they probably figured no one would look twice at a debate pic, you can also see some of the wall that was behind Tancredo now in front of Thompson's hand.

And btw, who's pants is Tancredo wearing now? I think he's wearing Thompsons, but not sure.

I blew em up to 400% and the flaws are easy to see. But it does look like Ron was really there, Hunter might be a paste job.

I'm skeptical of this one -- show me picked up AP stories that use both versions and I'll believe it.

I found the original wide pic that shows all candidates by doing a Yahoo News Photo search for Drake Debate, but could not find the one with the moved Tancredo over there. It is possible that Politico did the edit relocating Tancredo, or even the blogger, but it seems unlikely.
The unretouched AP pic can be seen here:

That is funny but you got it backwards. Romney is the "Holier than thou""I'm too good to debate snowmen and youtubers" Big Head. While Guliani is clearly the devil.

I think the AP did it because they are racist.

They totally tightened the shot to cut out the black photographer on the left!

I'm totally jokin'. :p

This is what it says under that photo:

For the Republican hopefuls, the strategy is a mix of exasperation, calculation and desperation. (Photo illustration by Politico.com)

Maybe the (Photo illulstration by politico.com) means they doctored it.
