MTV Audio for Dr Paul: Like Talking into a Bottle

For the first couple minutes of Ron Paul's segment, and couple times later, the audio from him on MTV sounded like he was talking through a bottle, I could not make out a word he spoke. This is in MA. Was the same in other places?

His mic was going out in the 2nd question but I have no idea what was going on. I don't think they did enough to discredit him, he still got out his message.

It's okay, by the last question that was all forgotten. He made a great point-- "I don't want to run your lives, I don't even know how"-- and the camera showed the ENTIRE ROOM smiling.

Actually, I feel the audio failure favored Paul during the Darfur question. Darfur is a pretty hot topic on MTV, or so my wife tells me.
