if this be treason then make the most of it.. time to vote down obama and hillary big time!

at least these online votes are televised.

transistor
02-02-2008, 05:52 PM
well let's make sure to vote negative on the remaining candidates to see if we do have that much influence in online voting

What an a-hole!

02-02-2008, 05:52 PM
its a fair caveat, we are more web savvy then the rest of the campaigns, but we have had a harder time with brick and mortar votes.

Independent Operator
02-02-2008, 05:52 PM
he was basically telling people to disregard all of the docs polls

d991
02-02-2008, 05:52 PM
of course they won't say that for any of the other candidates......

alien
02-02-2008, 05:52 PM
He just proved RPs point on how everyone keeps stacking the deck against him

Cinderella
02-02-2008, 05:53 PM
what an asshole!!! yea cuz all of the people that love ron paul live on the internet...we dont live in states or houses or andything like that.....were just spam bots??

ConstitutionGal
02-02-2008, 05:53 PM
I noticed it too. Did you catch where the said 'not to marginalize the results"? Of course, THAT's EXACLTY what he had just done! JERK!

BTW: wonder where all the Huckabee supports are at....there sure aren't any outside waving signs!! LOL

telll him during the break.. politely

Johncjackson
02-02-2008, 05:55 PM
He was being objective. We know he wins every online poll and usually gets single digit vote. That was the most fair assessment ever.

flames2dust77
02-02-2008, 05:55 PM
oooh yes...that's exactly what the jackass was implying. It was great right up until that. I was clapping at my pc screen; then he said that...ugh.

Johncjackson
02-02-2008, 05:56 PM
of course they won't say that for any of the other candidates......

They have all won states and polled 30% or more in actual votes. Plus they have no net following- doesnt apply.

he was basically telling people to disregard all of the docs polls

that's the impression I got. I was riding a high, thinking, no way they can find anything not to like then all of sudden he makes that comment.

Hopefully his comment that "Ron Paul has a large online following that is very well organized" will translate to some listeners as "popular with young people".

MTV is controlled like the rest of the media... I've little doubt he was told to say that about Paul before anything started.

check out the bottom poll where it says who do u think best connects with young voters.....ron paul is killing that poll.............

nodope0695
02-02-2008, 06:14 PM
Essentially yes, that is what he said. NewsCorp likely called him and told him to say that.

He made sure to mention that while he does great online, it doesn't translate into votes.

When NewsCorp is involved, be sure there will be slant and spin.

The computer guy was totally the spin master. He was spinning it in circles.

tarabyte

"lets put it all in context"...yeah like the context that you have an agenda to make Hillary look good and to undermine Ron Paul.

amazing how polls are gospel when they agree with the pollsters' agenda, and they are inaccurate when they disagree with the pollsters' agenda.

DanFreh

why do they bother having online poll's anymore. they know we will win them, then they just talk shit about em

F U Frank!!! F U Chris!!!!!!!

very interesting.

the whole point of the poll was to get a pulse on how young people would vote on super tuesday.

so this idea at the end of hillary's thing that it didn't matter because she had "old people" support really invalidated the entire purpose of the polling.
