What's wrong with Environmentalism?

I love helping the environment, but they problem here is that these politicians are using it for political gain, not because they actually care.

And the only way to help the environment is with incentives, not with mandates and more regulations.

Take for example...If they say to a business that all solar purchases will be tax free that is an incentive to buy solar.

If the state says that all businesses are required to purchase solar, and pay taxes on them, guess what happens? They pull up the stakes and move their business to another state!!

What's wrong with Environmentalism?

That it attracts followers rather than people who really want to understand what is going on and how to help.

Gore-like environmentalism is terrible and it mandates more taxation, more government intrusion, and stifles productivity. Moreover, it won't have any effect since polluters will simply go to China where they don't have the environmental policies limiting them. It would cause a hugely detrimental economic impact with little to no environmental impact.
