Thats nice.. But the problem is Ron is in Texas for a 3pm speech.. How will he make it to New York by 6 ?

It wont have the same effect if he is streamed by satellite.

Satellite?

0zzy
02-02-2008, 01:23 PM
The candidates will join the 90-minute event via satellite: Clinton from Tucson, Ariz., and Obama from Minneapolis, Minn., on the Democratic side; Mike Huckabee from Alabama and Ron Paul from Texas on the Republican side. Better-polling GOP rivals McCain and Mitt Romney declined invitations to participate.

ahh, makes sense.

If only the young people watching MTV would actually vote :/ *THAT* is why McCain and Romney aren't showing up to participate. They know that the audience doesn't really matter at this point.

Probably satellite streamed. I agree, it won't have the same effect unless everyone else is satellite streamed.

If I read the thing right - There is no debate... Just questions and answers one candidate at a time??????

I think RP will do great here because he won't have to rush his answers.

I do not think there is any head to head debating.

I wonder if anyone has any stats on the number of registered 18-24 republican voters in each primary we've already had vs. the number that actually voted? I've been looking but can't seem to find the stats.

Not to ruin everyone's happiness, but until we see he is getting equal time, don't assume it will happen here. So far, he's yet to get the same opportunities the other people do.

Just saying, don't discount the possibility.

But, they interviewed Mccain and Edwards previously alone for full hours. It was called "Presidential conversations" or something like that. They were supposed to do that with all the candidates.

Note: This is no surprise, since everyone one I know who has served in Iraq including myself supports RP or Obama.

He has over 682 official, signed endorsments from Military and Veterans on his website, and many, many of those have served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other wars.
Here they are: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/veterans
And here's a page where you can see the total count (on the right): http://people.ronpaul2008.com/endorsements/category/veterans/
