Instead of breaking links so they don't auto link, a better way to do it is to enclose the link within [ HTML ][ /HTML ] tags. To do this, just click on the < > button in the post editor, then paste the unbroken links between the [ HTML ][ /HTML ] tags that appear in the text box.

Links will then look like this:

http://www.ronpaul2008.com

Doing it this way will save the viewer the trouble of copying and pasting link, and then having to take out spaces.

I guess links to certain sites cause us troubles, I don't know. But people are doing it and it is a pain in the ass. This way is better if you're going to do it. :)

Or you can right click on any link, Copy Link Location, open new tab, paste into address field, hit enter.

I suppose preventing autolinking would prevent the host from detecting the referer.... only reason i can think to sanitize. I use opera and surf more with keyboard shortcuts than my mouse so it doesnt bother me much either way

Actually all you have to do is paste the ronpaul2008.com.
The address bar doesn't require the http or www. :)

just put http://anonym.to/? in frot of your link ..for example

http://anonym.to?/http://www.msn.com

this will anonymize the link

All you have to do is disable referer info with your firewall. No need to sanitize links. :D
