Hey Guys and Girls:

First, thank you for your service. You are the best in the world. :)

I would like to ask you guys what the real buzz is in the military about Iraq, the War on Terror, Iran, etc.

Forget the media - let's get it from those of you who have been there or are there.

Do you all feel that our being in Iraq makes America safer? Do you feel that you are fighting for freedom and democracy?

Maybe you can't answer directly - can anybody else share what a military friend or relative has shared?

I talk to people who think that our military presence in Iraq is actually protecting us over here.

No more dead soldiers. No more dead civilians.

Thanks so much.

I am married to an active-duty officer, and I will tell you that men like my husband who do not think this is a just war and do not support the reasons we went there are definitely in the minority. There are some, and maybe the numbers are increasing, but the majority are what we call "super-patriots" (a joke, people) that are true believers and support Bush.

Ron Paul receives more money from the military than any other candidate.. At least 3 times more than anyone else

The military is putting their money where their mouth is.. They know this war business is a total sham.

I guess my question can be answered by this:

Concern mounts over rising troop suicides

I know thi has been posted - my heart grieves for our soldiers.
