Can we get Hagel to back us? Is that possible. He agrees with us on the war and foreign policy even though they probably disagree on some domestic policies.

That'd be a big boost I think.

Can we please stop fantasizing about various people endorsing us?

There is nothing this forum can do to convince any particular person. If they have an ideological common ground with Dr. Paul, they are already thinking about it.

These kinds of posts are a WASTE of TIME. And TIME is the ONE THING we can't make any more of. We can recruit more people, we can raise more money -- but we CAN'T get any more time to accomplish what we need to.

As a Nebraskan, I don't agree with all the ways that Hagel votes. But I do like his criticism of the Bush administration and what the "war on terror" has become. I wish he'd stand up more for civil liberties, but I like the guy better than most senators. Since he's from my state, I'll have to email/fax a letter asking his opinion on Ron Paul.

Hey, we don't have our Republican primary till May, so I've got to do whatever I can for the campaign, eh?

Rumor has it that Hagel is considering running as Bloomberg's VP on the Unity08 ticket. I think they're waiting to see who the party's nominate before deciding though.

Yeah, Hagel is all for unification and legitimate rule.

Chuck is CFR.

Wow, that's surprising. If you watch the documentary 'Global Warming or Global Governance', Chuck is in it complaining about loss of national sovereignty to the UN.

Group think cannot defeat individual ideology.

Hagel is a natural McCain supporter.

I am hoping for a strong McClintock statement

All of these people will hold their noses and fall in line with McCain. At that point, Ron needs to run third party or independent. He's 72 and if he's serious about liberty, then his congressional seat doesn't mean squat. It's the presidency or nothing. But somehow, I think he'll be content to be ignored in the House.
