When phone-canvassing, have YouTube windows open with the following:

McCain's 100 years in Iraq statement
Romney's former liberal positions
Huckabee's psycho jokes, a clip of the Wayne Dumond case or of him begging for tax increases

If they support one of them, make sure to play the YouTube audio loudly so they can hear it :D

a better idea- just make a video with all of those things wrapped into about 6 minutes, then get it on an easy to spell, easy to access Web url (think 2girls1cup.com, but without the gross scat fetish footage) then when You call just ask them if they are at a computer and if they can spare 6 minutes of their time to watch a video. ONce they have the URL, tell them to have a nice day then move on to the next phone.

simple.

lol. They will hangup on you if its any longer than 20 seconds.

If you want them to watch a video, at the end of your conversation ask them to watch a Ron Paul video on YouTube :)

Look, the real world doesn't respond to Youtube for everything.

You have TEN seconds at most to get through to someone . That's it. If you don't get them in ten seconds, you're done.

yeah, but then the strategy still works- whats easier for the seniors, going to youtube and looking for ron paul or going to a website like say RonPaul4Dummies.com and sitting tight as the video streams automatically?

I agree. It might even be less than ten seconds.

They will do NEITHER.

Look, you are going to have to SELL Ron Paul. Without notes, without Youtube, without computers, without TV. Just YOU, talking to THEM.

Stop relying on crappy powerpoint+music videos on Youtube to do the job. The way you get people to vote for someone is to speak to them, really speak RIGHT to them.

Start off with "Are you voting for the next 100 year war?" or something to catch their attention quick
