My letter to the editor was actually published. Here it is:

Brian Burgess, Pelican Rapids, Letter: Our nation needs Ron Paul revolution

Published Friday, February 01, 2008
I believe the Ron Paul revolution is exactly what our nation needs. With our dollar plunging in value, borrowing from foreign nations, and a foreign policy that is out of control, Paul?s platform will allow America to heal.

The choice is simple, either socialism offered by the Democrats, more of the same war-hungry nation building, deficit-adding, neo-conservative destruction, or freedom and prosperity delivered by the Paul revolution.

It was actually an in print article in the actual paper! Contrary to some who think it is a post in a blog.

No that's just a comment on a newspapers blog. You need to a longer better letter and get it in the print edition. It is worth the effort. I have hundreds of entries on newspapers blogs on Ron Paul over the last 6 months - it gets some attention, but I think better to get in the print edition. I only have two letters in print editions.

Just go to www.letters4liberty.org, and post your email on my website. Then, when everyone on my website sees your email posted, they will be encouraged to write in to the same paper to agree with your message, since the papers email address will be displayed too. Then, you can update your post to include these peoples messages when they appear in print Also, if someone is printed disagreeing with you or any of these people, then you can add it to your post for anyone to respond to as well!

The site displays a map of the US showing numbers that track all of this activity, state by state, so that we can watch it all grow like a big money bomb that we create ourselves simply by writing letters in a coordinated fashion.

You must post your letter on my website while I continuously promote this within the grassroots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a newspaper! The In-Forum posts daily what is also in the print edition. Rest assured this was in the actual paper today... I talked to about 20 people today who commented on it.

Oops, I'm sorry, but I'm very glad to hear that I was mistaken!That's great, now you can post it (no scanning required) at www.letters4liberty.org, so that anyone in the world can write that newspaper and directly respond to your article! When you see a response printed then you can add it to your post. Also, if anyone disagrees in print, then you can add that to your post too so that everyone can write in and set them straight as well!

The website also provides a map that numerically tracks all of this activity from state to state and nationally. That way we can watch it all grow like a massive money bomb that we create ourselves, just by writing letters!

If you like my idea, then please create a thread calling for my sites banner to be displayed on the front page of this forum. Also, please inform all other members on this vital initiative so that it may grow as quickly as possible!

We've had around 7 letters published in our local paper and several large editorials also. I also did an interview with another paper the other day and they did a fair job.

If you cannot see it b/c of the picture, try printer friendly format. The title was a little off, "non-traditional," but that's better than "isolationist" I guess.
