At least put it in your Amazon shopping cart. Amazon uses that to gauge future orders. They will promote it much more. You can always buy it later if you can't now.

2 copies, preordered. i cant wait. and i have to say - what a gorgeous book cover design. its absolutely perfect.

however, the title might turn off the casual reader who might be interested in the topics Dr. Paul talks about, but sees it and thinks it to be some sort of brainwashing manual. I guess Dr. Paul wrote it for us, afterall :)

don't forget to add in the $3.99 shipping and tax ($1.57 for my state). this makes it 31 cents MORE expensive than Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Revolution-Manifesto-Ron-Paul/dp/0446537519/ref=pd_ts_b_4?ie=UTF8&s=books

On Barnes and Noble, it's:

$21.00 List price
$14.70 Online price (Save 30%)
$13.23 Member price

On Amazon.com, it's:

List Price: $21.00
Price: $21.00

That's before the 4 dollar shipping. You save about a dollar on amazon for preordering. WTF? You still save around 6 dollars on getting it through Barnes and Noble. I may cancel my amazon order and buy two at Barnes and Noble.

*edit* Just wanted to add you pay the 4 dollar shipping at Amazon too. I guess they don't offer the super saver shipping for preorders.

cost for me at amazon is $21 minus 5% = $19.95 (prime shipping)

cost for me at b&n is $14.70 + 3.99 + 1.57 = $20.26

if you don't have prime shipping with amazon (i'm pretty sure you can get a free one-month trial if you don't subscribe) and don't have the need to order anything in the $5 range to get free super saver shipping, then yes, b&n can be a slightly better deal. i initially thought amazon offered super saver shipping on pre-orders. doh.

Just bought it with two others by RP sold by the Von-Mises Institute. Love the foreign policy book, but knowledge is frustrating...

RP has been on record as being on the right side of foreign policy issues since '76. I can't stand how dismissive others are about his stances on the topic.

From Amazon's page about the book:

About the Author
Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. As a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. He and Carol, who reside in Lake Jackson, Texas, are the proud parents of five children and have 17 grandchildren.

They didn't feel his tenure as U.S. Congressman, or his historical 2nd white house run is worth mentioning?

Be sure to get a new highlighter if you're going to read "The Road to Serfdom". I got to the point that I had to give up highlighting because I was highlighting whole pages, for page after page. That book will change your outlook on the world.

I agree. The cover design is gorgeous. A lot better than that re-release from last year -- right here (http://www.amazon.com/Freedom-Under-Siege-Ron-Paul/dp/B000XG4ZGQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1201897191&sr=1-2). That was hideous.

Good idea. Instead of the pocket Constitution, to bump me over $25 I'd like some type of reference book. It'd have to include the Constitution, the Declaration, the Federalist Papers, and anything else pertinent to being well-informed about the American philosophy of governance. I'd even take a few philosophical musings that the Founding Fathers used as their references. A commentary is OK too if it is good. Any suggestions?
