Uggg... Delete this thread please. They have not yet posted Obama either. Please be patient instead of starting fires.

STOP! Obama isn't there either. It is just that they have so many donations it is taking longer, FEC is also running low on staff.

Ron's numbers just are not posted yet. You can also search the FEC site directly if you want: http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/srssea.shtml. So far, still only Q3 results.

Oh yeah, the http://query.nictusa.com/pres/2007/YE/ site doesn't have Obama's numbers either and the FEC site shows only through Q3. So, it's not just Ron's numbers that are missing so far.

ahh, but the difference here is that if you dig deeper you will find ron paul's numbers and find that obama has not yet filed.

At the time of this writing, the following page does not have Ron Paul:
http://query.nictusa.com/pres/2007/YE/

yet this page shows Ron Paul's numbers.
http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/dcd...432914/320652/

and this page shows that Obama has not filed yet.
http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/dcdev/forms/C00431445/

this is what i have so far:
4th quarter 2007
17. Contributions (other than loans) From:
(a) Individuals/Persons Other than Political Committees
-----------------------------------------------
Ron Paul 19,917,291.44
Rudy Giuliani 14,031,551.66
Mitt Romney 9,027,461.10
Fred Thompson 8,861,403.94
John McCain 6,781,807.13
Mike Huckabee 6,623,766.57
------------------------------------------------
Hillary Clinton 26,538,792.30
Barack Obama
John Edwards 4,834,761.11

Webmanager@fec.gov Send them an Email about this. I did. This is what I sent:

Where is Ron Paul's numbers and why are they not on the page with all the Rest?
Everyone is on that page but Ron Paul. I hope this was just an oversight, but I would like an explanation. I will be looking forward to hearing a response on this issue. This is the page I'm asking about.

Thank you,

Thank you, Steven Sharp

Please stop wasting their time, other candidates are not there, others had a delay in being posted.

i've already seen cspan, fox, and msnbc not mention ron paul's 4th quarter, but mention other candidates including obama who hasn't even filed yet.
this is deliberate.

No, please don't do this. Obama's numbers aren't up yet either. Give them a little time.

UH, no. We have a right to wonder why it isn't up yet.

Its the government people. They're not working for profit so why would you expect them to work quickly and efficiently.

this is what their excuses will be.
the media will say: ron paul's numbers are public information, we don't have to report it.
so then we go to fec.gov to find them and then we see that ron paul is missing from the page.
then the government will say that's because that page has 'selected presidential reports' emphasizing the word 'selected' and then mention that if you dig deeper you might find ron paul's numbers somewhere.

Ok so this morning he wasn't on. Then we hit them with the e-mails and they put the link up with his name but the link didn't work. Now that its evening and everyone is getting home from work his name is removed again. You just can't win the whole damn system is corrupt.

It worked earlier.

I hope this doesn't mean they found some error in the numbers.

Uh.. it was there earlier, I promise . We read through it.

This means that they have pulled it from the FEC website for some reason. I hope that doesn't mean that there is an audit going on.

SELECTED is the key word, I presume.

Hmmm. For some reason, they decided not to select Ron Paul?

What's annoying about this is that RP's report was sent in January 12th, long before the others' reports.

Everyone is up there except Paul. I emailed the webmaster@fec.gov requesting it be added to that index.

What? Where did you get this from? The FEC claims they received his fillings on the 31st.
