Was the debate rigged ?
Of course it was !

DEBATE TALKING TIMES

Romney 11:36 (18.64%)
Ghouliani 9:52
McCain 7:16
T.Thompson 6:25
Huckabee 6:18
Hunter 6:06
Brownback 5:44
Tancredo 4:46
DR.RON PAUL 4:12 (252 seconds) (6.75 %)

3735 total seconds, 6:55 (415 seconds)(11.11%) would have been equal and fair for all participants.
*The debate didn't air here until after the late news. These are the time figures I came up with early this morning for the candidates only.

LOL- We are being educated on big time Presidential politics. There IS an agenda dear friends, we need to acknowledge it. DO any of you now understand that the national media is OPPOSED to Dr. Paul ? Not just biased friends, but REALLY & TRULY against the man, his message and his supporters too !!! In third place in money on hand (THE MOST IMPORTANT POLL) and just shoved to the back of the line in air time...

Grassroots activism, LOCAL MEDIA & paid advertising is the only way to beat the powers that be... (Pre-debate RP activism got some positive Local MEDIA-FANTASTIC !!!)

To defeat them Dr. Paul needs funds to run paid advertisements. Please try to send something EACH PAYDAY to www.RonPaul2008.com\donate A little can really add up if done EACH PAYDAY. THX

We need debates with a moderator that only cuts off people that go over their time limit. Everyone on stage should get the same question and time limit with a clock showing. We see when the moderator calls on a candidate we get: "Let's get Romney's take on this." "Lets get Rudy's boring take on this." Ron Paul needs to organize these candidates to force the debate organizers to agree to strict standards. The moderator can't allow 3 candidates to jump in on every question 2-3 times and leave one candidate out entirely.

NO ##$$$#$##$!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sick of them doing this. I'm going to donate another $100 more to the campaign. Anyone want to join me?

The way I look at it is... pretty much any current politician (with very few exceptions) will make themselves look more scary, more confusing, less believable, the more you listen to them.

If that's the case with most people, giving the so called "front runners" more talk-time can only hurt them.

Yeah, I know and it was completely predictable too. Look , a couple minutes shy of the media proclaimed frontrunner, ok maybe. But 1/3 the time is inexcusable and completely undemocratic. The media should not determine who speaks and who doesn't in an election.

" "Lets get Rudy's boring take on this."

Let's see how many times Rudy can work the word "terror" into this.

On a high note, the more Romney got to speak the more he sounded like a child lost in the wilderness.

Wuddaya mean, my head is bolted to my shoulders?

LOL. I can't get that image out of my head, as Mitt looks down the row for support on his interjections.

to a debate, knowing all the frontrunners will reject it, he is in Iowa, challenge Romney to a one on one at the fairgrounds, high noon, he will run, then challenge McCain, he cannot get a ride, then Guiliani, perhaps he'd show but more likely scheduling conflicts. Its news fit to print, Ron Paul challenges the frontrunners and they fold. If they show, they will be destroyed with facts and Raucus applause from Ron supporters.

Yes. He looked like a whiny little baby when Dr. Paul put him in his place.

Was the ABC debate (8/5/7) rigged ?

Well, DUH! Some of you may call this a "conspiracy," but it's simply dirty politics 101, standard operating procedure.

I'm astounded that they're still letting him on the stage with the others. Maybe they think they can marginalize him in the presence of "the real candidates." LOL!

Let's not forget to mention that Mitt had a video played for him in the beginning, and them showing his wife in the crowd (how many candidates had their wives present? hmmmm?). Also, McCain and Tancredo both got close-up shots when they spoke in the second half.

My favorite moment? When Ron was speaking and Mitt tried to cut him off saying "what about 9-11" and Ron put his finger up, shutting Mitt up, saying "just a moment" and finishing his point. Ron needs to take these idiots to task like he did Rudy in the first debate.

This is the poll results of the ABC "WHO WON THE DEBATE" Poll(as of 8/6/07 10:30 am eastern). Ron Paul beat Romney by 26,381 votes. The headlines on the ABC site say "Romney Keeps Top Spot as Straw Poll Approaches." According to whom? According to the 30 men in a back room at a GOP meeting that voted for their sugar daddy Romney? According to Rupert Murdoch and David Rockefeller? Romney keeps top spot because he has paid the media off so that they will report him as top dog. Do they think we Ron Paul supporters are going to pack it up and shrink and curl up and die, and just vanish? I wonder what the next strategy is for the elitists. Because the more they lie the more ticked off we get. Maybe thats a good thing.

I didn't know there was a video of Romney at the beginning? No other candidates had videos or are they only playing favorites? I noticed they kept showing Mrs. Romney over and over from different angles.
That was good to see Ron blow off Mit like that, although I wish Ron would've went toe-to-toe with the idiot!
