Estimates?

I know this will not be another teaparty, but estimates anyway?

Off the top of my head -- about 1.2 million.

Troll.

Ok just kidding. I'm going for $2mil only because of the smooth email that the campaign sent. I pray I'm right.

"Troll."

Why am I a troll....we're not going to raise 6 million. In Teaparty we raised 500K in the first hour.

I expect today to be a success, but not a blow out.

Easy folks...same side remember. I think its hard to guess at this point. This is a weekday unlike the last two. (MLK was still a holiday). We should be able to gage better in the morning.

Since this is so last-minute, my personal expectation is about $1.3 million, but it could be a lot higher if word quickly gets around to an unexpectedly large number of people. It's a shame we don't own digg anymore...
Anyway, there's a graph in this thread (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=108167), and we can expect donations to accelerate starting around 8:00 AM.

How is DIGG countering Ron Paul supporters?

Is it the referring URL that people click on that gives us away..

or do they just censor all RP articles?

Noise wrote "just kidding" at the bottom. Think you missed it (I almost did too)

Check your email. The campaign asked everyone to donate $201 in a roundabout way today. How many people do you suppose are on the official campaign's e-mail list?

We know that many of you already are aware that Friday is Ron and Carol's 51st wedding anniversary. We thought now might be a nice time to share a little bit of their wedding story, from the words of Carol Paul.

"I actually came into the picture about 1952 when Ron was my escort to my 16th birthday party. Don't tell anyone - but I asked him... actually my birthday is February 29th and it was a Sadie Hawkins-type party where the girls asked the boys... and I asked him.

...

"We went away to college (different colleges in different states), but always kept in touch. On February 1, 1957, we married in an all-white wedding with the bridesmaids carrying armloads of red roses. The flower girl wore a white dress and sprinkled rose petals down the aisle. A fraternity brother of Ron's sang "The Wedding Prayer" and the "Lord's Prayer." Both are very special to us, even today.

"We spent his last semester in college married, and living on the third floor of an old home in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. For one year Ron was manager of the college coffee shop called "The Bullet Hole." He worked as steward and house manager for his fraternity, and had a small scholastic scholarship to help finance his way through college.

You can read more about Ron and Carol's life story in her article, "The American Dream," on our website.

For those of you who will be contributing on Friday in honor of Ron and Carol's many loving years together, we've included an added bonus: Everyone who contributes at least $201 (since Friday is, after all, 2/01) will get to write a personalized anniversary message to Ron and Carol!

In the coming days, we'll display some of these messages on our website, and we're also going to present every one of them, along with your names, as a gift to Ron and Carol!

Thank you in advance for your help in giving Ron Paul one big fundraising and media push before Super Tuesday! https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate
