Best of luck with the "Max out for Mike" fundraiser! You guys have the only other candidate with true grassroots support, and now is the time to stand up and show the media that you won't let him be brushed off.

And please don't judge all of us here by the handful of jerks who post inflammatory or derogatory stuff about Mike. The majority of us are concerned Americans like yourselves; our camp just happens to have different points of view on certain topics.

Good luck!

Our camp builds better fires.

;)

And we have better camp chefs as well :D

Really though - if you can get people to NOT vote for McCain, I don't care WHO they vote for.
I'd prefer Ron Paul, but really...

Anyone but McCain.

To the Huckabee supporters, welcome. One thing you must realize about the majority of Ron Paul supporters, we do not like being told what to do. So when the media attempts to tell us who is electable, we get angry and we react. Some of us write letters and boycott, others create youtube videos, some of us react by increasing donations, and yes there are those of us who chase down people like Hannity and throw snowballs at him.

How many of you would love to have thrown snowballs at Anderson Cooper last night hmmm?

Not be devils advocate, but wasnt it like. a month ago or so, right after iowa, where everyone around hated huckabee's guts worse than any other candidate? Just sayin'

I am not a fan of Huckabee's policies but any of his supporters I have ever come across personally have always been very respectful. I can't say the same for the McCain or Romney supporters. Not all have been outright jerks, but Ive come across my fair share of them that have been.

Best of luck with y'alls fund raiser.

Actually, this talk of "competition" just made me think of something...
What if the Ron Paul and Huckabee grassroots camps collaborated on setting a huge common money bomb day some time in the future (after everyone's had much more time to regroup)? It could be marketed and spread around over the course of a month or so like a big battle between the Paul and Huckabee grassroots. I'm not sure how fair this would be (because our active support base is much larger and more willing to go "balls to the wall"), but competition does breed excellence, and a bit of a friendly competitive spirit and enough hype ahead of time could drive both camps to unite behind the idea. While I don't trust Huckabee himself one bit, his supporters aren't bad people, and "teaming up" by setting a friendly competition could be mutually beneficial. Friendly relations will also help with opening them up to Paul's message of freedom.
