In that NPR report its funny that they accuse the Rep Debates as being dry as these numb nuts reporters drone on and on themselves...

I wasn't at the debate, but when I heard them applauding I turned to my husband sand said that it appeared that some Ron Paul supporters had managed to score some tickets. His appluase seemed to come from one section of the audience.

I'm just glad the applause was there. Wavering neocons need to know they aren't the only people in the party doubting the war efforts.

It *sounded* like the whole audience, but then the camera immediately panned back.

It was very difficult to see movment in the audience, so yeah it gives the impression it was a small yet vocal group. But if they hadn't chosen that camera shot at that moment, one might guess everyone was agreeing.
