Just got back from our local GOP straw poll and we had a great turn out of Ron Paul supporters.

It was for paid members only and many members paid the 15 bucks to vote and join the organization.

We tied Mitt Romney for 1st place with 14 votes each.. What a great event.. Our man Mike Riedman did an incredible job of standing up for Ron Paul.

Ohio should be strong for Ron Paul. There's a great billboard on 70 headed East, which is the main interstate through Ohio. The only political support (bumper stickers, signs, etc.) I've ever seen within the state of Ohio is for Ron Paul. Can't wait for March 4!

"Why do all the trees in Ohio lean north?"
"Because Michigan sucks,"

MI gave RP 4th. Lets see if OH can top that.

Ohio is pretty conservative in the red areas. That also means they're religious, so they could be swindled by Mike. Like most states it'll just come down to media/meetup coverage. If we're lucky, and Paul is smart, he'll push big city news channels for interviews. I read somewhere that your local 6 and 11 o'clock news is the #1 source for political coverage on TV. If I'm not mistaken though Texas is on the 4th too and I'm sure he push that the hardest. Hopefully he'll get around to giving everyone some love.
