Um is it me, or didn't our beloved Dr. Paul leave the Republican party?

And aren't 85% of the people here wailing and begging for him to do the same and run independent?

Not really the best fight to pick?

Paul left because it wasn't conservative enough...McCain almost left because it was too conservative, and he was embarrassed he lost to Bush and had a hissy fit.

McCain was real sore about how little drunk Georgie Bush and his cronies roughed him up.

McCain has issues, like not making the grade for General.

OK, now he needs to be asked that dumb question they always ask Ron.

All I'm saying, is Ron Paul isn't the one to criticize McCain for almost leaving the Republican party, simply because in the 15-second soundbite culture we live in, the automatic retort to the Ron Paul camp is "Well so did you, you actually ran *against* Republicans, something John McCain would never dream of doing, etc. etc."

Let toe-the-line GOP hacks grill McCain about this (they are more than happy to), I feel much better challenging his lack of fundamental economic knowledge, volcanic temper and extreme warmongering.
