On the blog at the website they say they've been getting some attacks. I know this effort made the DailyKos and some blogs not favorable to Dr Paul so there may have been some spamming of the blogs, etc. They have around 10K now and full sponsorhship for a car from what I've been able to determine would run 300-400K for just the Daytona 500. But thats okay because that race gets the most exposure. Too bad its after Super Tuesday. That in itself might doom this effort. I like the idea but I might be biased because I'm a NASCAR fan. I think a lot of people may be interested but they want to make sure there donation gets the most benefit for the campaign.
