Is this a crazy idea or what?

So I was thinking today about how Kucinich said he would like to have Dr. Paul as his running mate. Then I thought about how highly Dr. Paul spoke of Senator Obama. I came to a wacky conclusion and would like to hear your thoughts.

When Hillary receives the nominee, what if Dr. Paul asks Obama to be his running mate? Hands down - Dr. Paul would be president on January 20, 2009.

The pure Paulists will, of course, decry such a notion. However, I've always thought that Dr. Paul needs a young, modern counterbalance to attract "the mass" vote, not just "the informed" vote.

Barak Obama is certainly lacking, but I would rather have Ron Paul in a VP position than in no position at all.
