This is great!

At the beginning, he sounded very relaxed... maybe even tired.

But he has really fired up!!

Yeah, at one point, the video kept skipping, and it kept repeating some word that Dr. Paul said... and it sounded really funny.

The audio keeps jittering for me. Anyone else have this problem?

He's talking about medical marijuana... never really heard him talk about it.

It's not even watchable. It keeps cutting out and repeating itself over and over. I hope it's because of all the traffic and not just a technical glitch.

mmm even with technical problems, applause still sounds good

Same here, I think users are near max...it was fairly unwatchable, but I can tell it's a great speech.

Someone said they don't have a hi band connection. But let hopes this quickly improves in the future they can use a direct satellite connection. Even at $1 a minute it is worth it.

Pause the video for 10 seconds or so and then hit play again. It clears up the stop-go problem.

Justin TV should definitely have a separate audio stream for this kind of thing.

The audio keeps jittering for me. Anyone else have this problem? They know they're having a buffering issue. Try pausing for a few seconds and then listen. Helps some.

Que machismo!!

Aww, Carol is going up to the stage.

A fire was lit in Iowa today, I do believe.

EDIT: I wonder if we can find out how many people were there. And, surely, those aren't all out-of-staters.

Oh, the campaign has 500 tickets to give out for the straw poll.

Look At That Crowd!

There were alot more people there than it sounded like. I was surprised when the cam panned the crowd. Being outside must reduce the mobs noise level.

I wish CSpan would start following him so I don't have to deal with that stutter next time, parts sounded like a bad rap album.

Just go to http://www.justin.tv/ronpaul and choose "Archive." Then, type in 9:32 PM (that's the time he got on... and I don't think time zones matter).

It seemed very large.

You can judge for yourself by reading the post right above yours.

I just got home from Fairfield. I live 40 miles away. It was a GREAT rally. I got there at 7pm, and the crowd wasn't very big. But as soon as Joe started speaking, people began to walk up. I don't know how many people were there (I'm not a good judge of that) but there were several hundred. The message was very well received. Even the police officer standing next to me was listening closely.

I already have my straw poll tickets, and I had my really active two-year-old, so I left as soon as it was over. But there were LOTS of people around the table to sign up for the straw poll.

I visited my dad today. He's a die-hard Republican and he's always been a big war supporter. The only thing he had against Ron Paul was his chances of winning. He actually said Ron may be the best man for the job. He also told me he didn't care for any of the big name candidates. Hey, that's at least something to work with!!

It's 11:30, and I still have to fix supper. Have a great night!

I just got back as well.

It was ultra-hot tonight but the crowd ended up larger then I expected and quite vocal. I was worried about an 8:00 pm Sunday night start time.

I moved around a bit to judge the audience. It was a mix of activists and local people and I think his message went over well.

Coming in from I-34 East a huge Ron Paul banner was in a field along the road. And in town a giant banner was sitting atop a local business. Considering how that city is arranged, 100% of people in that town should at least know his name.

Can't wait till Saturday!

Thanks y'all for filling us in!

This week has become so electrified... and to think, it started with that stupid debate.
