I am very optimistic about what transpired today.

In regards to the ABC debate, people have to understand that Dr. Paul is knowingly being allocated a fraction of the time the other "candidates" are receiving. Knowing this, he is under tremendous pressure to say what he needs to say. The platform isn't big enough for the message... he needed to reach out to the simpetons. I believe he did a wonderful job in doing that. Obviously his presentation is still somewhat raw, his message somewhat soft spoken. The more and more he takes center stage, the more comfortable he will get.

In regards to The Big Story on Fox News... Wow. Dr Paul answered some of the trickiest questions with logical, justified and reasonable answers. Julia, the host of today's show, seemed to be interested in these answers and not once during the interview appear to defame or write off the good Dr. with any negativity. In fact, she seemed interested in "listening." Guess what? That rubs off.

The online polls today speaked for themselves.

Whether Iowa is a success or a flop... Ron Paul's stock is hot. He's on the rise. That cannot be disputed. The cash continues to flow in. The support doesn't flee elsewhere. People are more motivated than ever.

These other bottom feeders can only hang on to the rope for so much longer.

I think the GOP sees this as a major problem... that's why they've got Fred Thomson on the backburner. Just another fish for the shark!!!

Be happy with today!

I drove down south on the I5 today. Saw two huge Ron Paul banners on freeway overpasses. One at Alicia Parkway. The other was further up north (around Disneyland, I think).

That, to me, was more inspirational than the debate itself.

I'm very happy about today! It turned out far better than I had anticipated. You know it's a good day when you feel better about it afterwards than you did before.

Also, have you noticed that there are more people logged into the forum than normal? So many good things!

I just excited. I can't wait to see how things continue to progress. Just think about the Iowa straw poll in the context of today's events. I think that we have a very good chance of sweeping now. (I can dream!--that's the one thing they can't take away for me ;) )

It's been a great day.

The debate gave Paul more opportunities for good press with his strong and reasoned statements. Sure, we all wish he could have 30 minutes to talk, but he did fine and Mitt made an ignoramus out of himself:

The Fox News Interview was excellent:

And, lastly, the Rally in Iowa was energized if you were fortunate enough to watch the live feed of the event. The campaign is handing out 500 tickets to the Straw Poll.

(hope we have video of it soon)

Just go to http://www.justin.tv/ronpaul and choose "Archive." Then, type in 9:32 PM (that's the time he got on... and I don't think time zones matter).

Didn't know it was archived that fast, I watched it live from that site.
