McLying vs. Ron Paul

Writes Mike Martin: "Did McCain say in response to Ron that Ike didn't run on promising to get us out of Korea? Well, here's a transcript of one of his campaign ads:

"'Announcer: Eisenhower answers America.

"'Man: General, the Democrats are telling me I never had it so good.

"'Eisenhower: Can that be true when America is billions in debt, and prices have doubled and taxes break our backs, and we are still fighting in Korea. It's tragic. And it's time for a change.'"

Great ad! It could be for Ron Paul.

McCain is a liar and a braggart, the likes of which I have never seen in all my 48 years. The man makes me sick.

Mccain has a little problem with the 'facts.'

--which means he fits right in with the neocon crowd because they think they can make it up as they go along.

McCain sickens me...more so than anybody else in this whole race (well at least on the Republican side)

McCain was somewhat right though. Ike didn't get us out of Korea. We're still there today.

Yea, McCain didn't say "Ike didn't run on getting us out of Korea", McCain said, "Ike didn't get us out of Korea".

Yea, McCain didn't say "Ike didn't run on getting us out of Korea", McCain said, "Ike didn't get us out of Korea".

The important thing is that Ike was elected for it.. it was the will of the people..

Yea, McCain didn't say "Ike didn't run on getting us out of Korea", McCain said, "Ike didn't get us out of Korea".

True, but it didn't address Ron's point, which was that twice Republicans won on promises of getting us out of wars, and twice they didn't follow through on those promises.
