That ad just ran here in Wisconsin saying that if he is in office, he will abolish the IRS. Did I miss something?

Has he always had this position?

I've heard him say that before, but he would replace it with a large flat tax. Ron Paul would do neither.

Yeah. You missed the Fair tax. Under him, you pay no income tax, but you pay 30% more for everything you buy, even if you are so poor you never had to pay income tax in the beginning. No write offs..30% (He says 23% but it works out to 30). I think you might even have to pay it if you buy a house, food or anything. It is HORRIBLE and it is Revolution causing...he is such a sly horrible person..but you would NEVER know it if you met him. He appears very powerfully good.
That is how he got away with documented crimes in AR and no one notices.

"Has he always had this position"?

I too would like to know this. Has he championed this cause before or is it a position made just in time to get votes?

He has always held this position (well, at least since I became involved in politics in late December). And to be fair, it's not his plan but has been around for awhile. While I don't like it, a lot of fiscal conservatives believe this would be a step in the right direction compared to what we have now; I just happen to believe that it's stupid to take one step in the right direction, when Ron Paul has proposed the way to get us all the way to where we need to be (NO income tax).

He's said this ever since his campaign began.
