if someone other than paul gets 51% of the votes during Febuary 9th Primary. All delegates are commited to majority vote, and if there is none then all delegates are unbound we can scoop up Huckabee and Freds delegates and bring them over. So we have to have Ron Paul do well in Louisiana's Primary even if he dosent get majority each % point takes away from other canidates and increases his "percieved" electabilty.

Please help get this funded

The Louisiana Meetup group is headed by great leaders and they could use the bump in funding for a billboard.
Even if every person viewing this forum right now donated 10 dollars this could be funded tonight.

Digital Bill Board: $3,000 for one week. We can also have different ads that Lamar will rotate. The deadline is Thurday evening, Jan 31st. We need to get this to Lamar Friday so the ad can go up Sunday.

Newspaper ad: Sunday, Feb 3rd: 1/4 page ad is $2,166 for black and white and $2,526 for color. Deadline for money is Thursday Jan 31st by 12 noon. Deadline to get ad to paper is Thursday Jan 31st 5 pm. Saturday, Feb 9th: 1/4 page ad is $1,435 for black and white and $1,795 for color. The deadline for money is Thurday Feb 7th by 12 noon. Deadline to get ad to paper is Thursday Feb 7th 5 pm.

As I said our main goal is $3,000 for the bill board. If we make the money for the newspaper ads, or someone just wants to donate just for that, then we will do both.

We have 160 members in the group. If everyone donates $50 then we will make $8,000 and be able to do both. I'm not saying everyone should donate $50. You should donate what you can, no matter how little or how much it is. All doantions are greatly appericated. And all donations will help Dr. Paul win. Remember we did win the Louisiana Caucus. So, we can win the primary.

For 3K a week you can pay 12 people 250.00 a week to knock on doors. Think if the hundreds of thousands for the blimp would have gone to door knocking. Not that I'm anti-blimp because it did bring some good free pub but news coverage by itself doesn't get votes. I don't know how much was spent on the blimp but if it was 300K that would of paid 142 people $250 a week for 2 months to knock on doors.

Not true, only 20 delegates are committed to the winner.

That said, apparently Ron Paul came in close second in precincts in Southern Florida that were canvassed by Ron Paul supporters.

CANVASS!!!!!

it's the only way to prevent anyone else from getting 51%, or to get ourselves 51%. Crazy, yes, but you only achieve improbable goals if you shoot for the impossible
