There's a cult movie from 1991 called "Slacker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacker_%28movie%29)" by Richard Linklater (http://imdb.com/name/nm0000500/).

One scene of that movie takes place in front of a "Ron Paul for President" billboard.

Does anyone have a still shot from that scene or the ability to capture it? It would be a cool campaign image.

That's odd. I wasn't aware that Dr. Paul had attempted to run for president before

Libertarian, took 15% of the popular vote in 88, if I remember correctly.

That scene was hilarious. The old anarchist guy said that he wanted to pull a Guy Fawkes and he said something about modern libertarians.

I really need to watch this movie at some point. It's on Hulu right now. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow night.:)

Wasn't Slacker released around 1992? Either the footage was in the can for a while or that truck sign was a few years old..

Wow. Hulu is free. That means everybody here can go watch it right now in REALLY high quality, unless you're not in the US, in which case you might be able to get around with a proxy or something

Keep in mind Hulu is pwned by Murdoch tho ;) (I watch it quite a bit cause my roommates like it a lot and we don't have TV anymore...)
