This is very interesting. Though I disagree with their classification of Hillary as a Moderate Conservative and would nudge Ron Paul a bit downward on the Authoritarian/Libertarian divide (if he's an Authoritarian, I'm Groucho Marx!), this is a thought-provoking visual look at how the candidates stack up and, disturbingly enough, how ALL the "frontrunners" are grouped within just a few notches of eachother!

Nice! You're pretty close to where I am
-----------------------------------------

Economic Left -1.00
Libertarian - 4.72
--------------------------------------

I used to be a LOT further to the left, but Ron Paul's rubbing off on me. :D

Economic center: 0.0
Libertarian -3.0

A little cool-headed for this crowd... but Bush II must have pushed me over the edge. ;)

the site sucks. First question is about whether globalisation should serve the interest of transnational corporations. I assume the implication is that if you disagree with that sentiment you support some collectivist position. And Ron Paul on the Authoritarian side and take your guns away kucinich is not?

I think the site didn't get Dr. Paul's answers or I don't understand them. I don't understand how he could be misconstrued as an authoritarian.

As for me, last time I took the quiz, I was somewhere around:
Economic: +0.5 Right
Authoritarian: -7.0 Libertarian.

The first time, I was:
Economic: -4.0 Left
Authoritarian: -7.0 Libertarian.

Difference is in Ron Paul and a partial understanding of Austrian Economics.

Too vague for me to answer those.

Yes I too, as others have said, that some of the questions are ambiguous, too much in the grey vague areas.

The makeup of this chart is bizarre. Take any standard Nolan Chart test for Dr. Paul, and you end up fully libertarian.

But here's a better chart. Top to bottom represents more government versus less government. Ron Paul is not an anarchist, so he is not at the very bottom, but he is probably two thirds of the way down at least. Now look at the left versus right axis. Left is more public property and less private, while right is more private property and less public. Ron Paul is again almost all the way to the right. He falls solidly within the libertarian quadrant.
