like the title says, ive read here on the forums that he is now invited, thats a success and you fax/letter writers need to give yourself a giant pat on the back. Standing up to Viacom and NWS is hard to do but by-god we did it and had we sat around over 200 million would have been shutout from hearing the truth

this thread is for you activists who jump on the ball everytime we face media bias, you guys (in my eyes) are some of the true leaders of this revolution. it truly makes me proud to call myself a ron paul republican, keepup the good work

I just feel bad for everyone who deleted their myspace accounts.

I was waiting until AFTER the debate to delete mine. I thought it was only fair to give them a chance to get with the program before doing so.

Young people don't generally vote (look at the numbers in Florida and everywhere else so far), so the debate is fairly worthless.

It is true younger people don't tend to vote. However, alot of our support does come from active young people. And consider that we are trying to get our ideology out to everyone, this is a good way to do it.

It's better than nothing. Do we want the ones who would have voted thinking he's dropped out and not energized to vote?

No, I'm just disgusted with the under-30 crowd (I'm one of them). They bitch a lot about things and protest a lot of worthless stuff, but don't vote for the one person who can change America for the better.

Unless someone hacked the image somehow, he's invited:

Young people don't generally vote

As a fairly young person myself (23), I feel qualified to give an explanation for that. It's not that we don't care...it's just that we've never had a candidate with ideas young enough to pick up the supporters to match!

Has anyone confirmed this with HQ? It's not on the calendar yet.

A lot of them will be old enough to vote in a few years. The earlier they are exposed to the truth, the better.

Since when do young people watch MTV. This is the Gen X channel and yes we vote.

Now we are getting some respect!

Never, and I do mean NEVER give up on Ron Paul!

If he fails in this campaign, support him as Congressman.

Support those whom he endorses.

Support those who vote for his positions.

This is how the rEVOLution grows....

Thank you MTV! I was sure they'd come around and invite the dude. I wonder if pressure had anything to do with it...

Now all we have to do is force the campaign to accept the invitation.

Thanks to Hamadeh for bringing this to attention.

Ron certainly looks the most presidential in those photos.. The others look like children in the school yard in comparison. With big ugly war monger face in the middle.

unfortunately so far the statistics are telling another story. We only had like 5% of the 18-24 year old vote :(

With the crowd this is aimed at, I can't imagine Ron Paul not running away from the rest of the war-mongering, Republicans. Him vs. the democrats, now that would be intriguing.

Myspace is owned by NewsCorp, so deleting your account is still the right thing to do.

A good thing to delete your MySpace account. Rupert Merdock owner of Newscorp owner of FOX News has purchased MySpace.

I deleted my account immediately. No way I'm going to let that *))(&(&)(*)((***** trace my IP.

If ron paul goes on MTV and says, "I will end the war on drugs and pardon all non violent drug offenders. I will put an end to government secrecy and get the government out of your life. I will let you keep 100% of the money you earn, I will let you out of social security, and I will abolish the IRS." I think we will win the debate.

I also got an email from Jason Rzepka, he is MTV's Communication Director.

Dear Josh,
Tonight, MTV and MySpace released the following statement:
A key goal of the MySpace/MTV Presidential Dialogues has been to ensure that young peoples' voices are heard during this Election. Due to the overwhelming response from Ron Paul's youth supporters, as well as his strong polling numbers among young voters, we are thrilled to invite him to participate in this Saturday's "Closing Arguments" special. An invitation has been extended to his campaign and we look forward to their response.
All Best,
-Jason Rzepka
