He mentioned that all the candidates were respectable men. He had added praise for Dr. Paul who won all the debates. He would go to his room and watch them and he would see Dr. Paul would win all of them.

Oh please. Paul had nothing to do with Rudy's downfall and you know it. McCain and Romney put the finishing touches on Rudy tonight. Rudy had a terrible strategy, not as much support around the country as was thought, liberal social positions, and that's why he lost.

I find it really rude and annoying that a thread starts with minimal info for those who don't have cable or just missed the clip you're referring to. I hate to say anything good about Giuliani but I didn't see it as mocking. He acknowledged his opponents as honorable men, mentioning McCain and Romney. He started to go on then realized he hadn't mentioned Huckabee -- mentioned him, then when on to include Ron Paul ("... and Ron Paul). After he mentioned Ron Paul, he said that he "Paul" won all the debates, you know, where people vote with text messages. He didn't imply that people voted multiple times, but it was also clear that he didn't think that meant Paul had actually won the debates.

He didn't have to acknowledge Paul (the MSM certainly wouldn't have called him on it) but he did. It was good for Paul -- better than he's getting from the MSM today and tonight.

Rudy did one good thing during this campaign. He miscalculated in that early debate and tried to score points by attacking the "funny fringe guy" and it backfired. It was total blowback and it propelled RP into the spotlight. Thanks Rudy! Ba-bye!
