Seriously I have lost faith in the American People. Do they really have no idea what the hell we are in for?

Not until it hits them right between the eyes. Then they will try to blame someone else for not telling them about it before. Until then, the party rolls on.

we should have had no problem with the message of Freedom. It seems as if the people are just blind and have no idea what is going on.

heath.. you gave it your all man.. you tried getting the boxing thing going.. you did loads of stuff there in your precinct.. if the people there listened to the talking heads on the TV rather than you then that's their problem. They'll have to live with the fact that they voted for what is in store for our country.

And don't be upset with the people - be upset with the old media and the people behind it who orchestrated this mess.

Yeah, when the media and the GOP establishment seem hell-bent on making Ron Paul a non-person in this election, you really can't blame people for not knowing about him or his policies.

yeah i am pretty upset/angry at the american people, but at the same time when i step back and look at it from a different perspective, most middle class people are working 9-10 hour days. people just don't have the time when they have kids have to prepare dinner to go into researching all this stuff fully in depth. they need a reliable HONEST news source and they just aren't getting it. the media has a lot of responsibility for this.

On one hand, I blame the media cover-up and not the American people, because I honestly believe that if every american spent an honest hour researching ron paul online, they would be supporters and we would win the election.

On the other hand, why cant they do what we have done and see though the veil?

The mainstream media is giving people what they want.

I would feel sympathy for the American people if they worked on farms, but they don't. The American people have FAR more free time then ever, but they "busy" themselves in order to stay ignorant of the real, ugly, reality.

This campaign has given me faith in a growing segment of the US population. I'm still down on the majority who continue to choose the same old people, or those who don't even bother to try and change things.

Reminds me of that old Rare Earth song...

I put my faith in the people
But the people let me down
So I turned the other way
And I carry on, anyhow
That's why I'm telling you

I just want to celebrate, yeah, yeah
I just want to celebrate, yeah, yeah
Another day of living,
I just want to celebrate another day of life

most americans dont really want change nor do they want the truth. it would make them to uncomfortable. and most are lazy. i told a friend to look up RP on youtube and tell me what he thought because he was curious and said he hadnt heard to much about him. this was over a week ago and he hasnt said a word yet. still yet he hasnt even tried to look at RP because if he had he would have been gaga over him ....lazy.

BUT, they won't wake up on OUR side of the rabbit hole! You know they'd vote for a 200 year war and Patriot Act 4 in a heartbeat!
In fact, I'm convinced now that they are all comatose and CAN'T wake up!

In all honesty.... before I heard of Ron Paul I was in the dark man... I was just a regular person that tried to make money.... Plus I supported McCain :P

After hearing Ron Paul at a debate I wanted to look at him closer. I loved what I saw... Then I started hearing all this other stuff from you guys... like the 9/11 stuff... then the Bohemian Grove... NOW I CAN'T SLEEP AT NIGHTS. This has been a huge freaking wake up call. My wife is now thinking I am nutz for wanting to build a bomb shelter and stocking up on camping gear.

This makes me feel good. The knowledge we have is a burden, but I'm happy to see people waking up. I voted for that piece of shit George W Bush in 2004 and then had an epiphany in 2005.

Since then, I have become an information sponge. I know things about WWI, WWII, Vietnam, The Fed, Israel, etc that are so sickening and so complex that I can scarcely imagine how to begin to present it to those who have been brainwashed. I've been successful in converting my family (10+ people) and have begun to enlighten about 20 of my friends, but I just don't believe the average American is even close to smart enough to comprehend what's going on.

I would bet heavily that Ron Paul supporters are at least one standard deviation smarter than the next smartest group of a candidate's supporters. Trying to teach many of these people what's going on would be like trying to explain a solar eclipse to caveman. The guy who tells him "sunshine is good" is going to win every time.

yeah, it always starts off with: "you are going to think i'm crazy but......"

that's all you can do man...just keep spreading the word. i actually quit my job and research this stuff about 14-16 hours a day. only problem is no one is paying me anything lol. i was making good bank too, now i don't know what i'm going to do. i certainly ain't going to help this government build up their version of the cube, that's for damn sure. i think i am waking people up, and they are in turn waking other people up. change can't just happen overnight. this crap has been going on for decades.

You guys aren't seeing this the way it ought to be seen.

Just today I read that Mike Huckabee said that we shouldn't go around the world spreading democracy through force (haven't seen the vid yet but I heard about it on this forum). And he says he wants to abolish the income tax  . Just a few hours ago I saw Obama's State of the Union response where he blasted the banks and the financial institutions for "running amock". And of course there was McCain blaming inflation for our woes several weeks ago.

It might be just a coincidence, but I'll bet you that if it was not for the Ron Paul movement, they would not even be talking about that stuff. I doubt that they'll follow through on what they're talking about but at least they're talking about it. It's a start. And those self-serving politicians are only talking about those things because they sense a shift in the American people's thinking. And that shift is because of us. It's more slow than people here or even myself would like but it is there. Here's the good news: it's accelerating. If you have been working your ass off for Ron Paul, DO NOT THINK YOUR EFFORTS HAVE BEEN IN VAIN. Let's continue doing what we're doing because we are changing the American people and starting to reverse the decades of brainwashing that the elites have subjected us to.

Keep doing what you're doing and KEEP the Internet in the hands of pro-Constitutionalist Patriots because the Internet can only grow in influence as time goes on.

Don't stop thinking about tomorrow

now that there are only 4.... they will be pushed even more into talking to dr paul.

this means trouble for the others, as they do not have the record to back their statements.

Seriously I have lost faith in the American People. Do they really have no idea what the hell we are in for?

The American people DON'T CARE. Don't you see? When the revolution was fought, only ten percent of the nation fought. The other ninety percent were all in support of the British, thinking that what they were doing was good for the people, and they only wanted the 'best for them.' We're that ten percent. In national polls, we're at ten percent. WE'RE that damn bloody ten percent. And the rest of the nation could care less. They think elections are 'funny.' They're all apathetic. They'll vote for someone just because she's a woman, even though she'd like to give the constitution a few slashes. AMERICANS ARE STUPID, and I mean that completely. Americans are STUPID. Those damn Brits always make fun of Americans for being so stupid, and wanting to bomb every single damn country because they think it's best 'for the world,' when they know nothing about world affairs. They laugh. AND SO DO I. BECAUSE IT'S TRUE. Americans are stupid, could care less, are apathetic, and couldn't care less about their country, and all the damn blood that was spilled so they could sit on their fat rear ends and take up oxygen without being speared through the throat for doing so by a ruthless dictator... Yet. A damn revolution was fought way back then. Meaning armies against armies. This is a damn election. It's different. You can win a revolution with just ten percent of a nation. You need fifty one percent of a nation to win an election. Now I'm not saying Ron Paul can't win, because he will win, or he'll be forcefully placed in office after the elections done with on the Jan. whatever march on 09' through DC. It doesn't matter if we win or not, because even if we lose, we'll forcefully place Ron Paul in office. Who CARES if he doesn't win this time around? We'll just forcefully rip the drug lord Clinton out of office, and instate Ron Paul like what's being planned. But the fact in the matter is that our founders knew Americans wouldn't care. Take Benjamin Franklin, for example. "We've given you a democracy. Now let's see how long you can keep it."

Americans are stupid. Complete idiots who could care less about their country. Period. And you know what? If someone other than RP gets elected, and our march on 09' gets shot down, I hope to G-d that this country falls flat on its face to Socialism. And I hope every damn American who voted for anyone other than RP gets thrown flat on the ground. Right out of their damn two million dollar couches and twenty trillion dollar mansions and have to suffer for what they caused by being apathetic. But even then, they'd probably think to themselves, "Hey, this isn't so bad. Our government is just trying to do what's best, right? In the name of terrorism, right?"

Americans are mentally ill, stupid, whatever. Period. And for once in my life, I'm ASHAMED to be American. Good night.

Realistically, that's why most "second tier" candidates get into a presidential race knowing they won't have the resources to actually win. The idea is to gain a bully pulpit and force the frontrunners to adopt some of your positions. I've always assumed that was originally Dr. Paul's logic before the groundswell of support made his candidcy more viable than he expected. It's also one of the reasons I voted for him. The more support he can show, the more he'll force his issues into the forefront. When people talk about "throwing away" my vote I explain that to them. Voting for a cadidate or supporting thier campaign can be a strategic move, expecially in the primaries, so it's not wasted effort win or lose.

I dont blame the American peopler per say. I blame the parents of the voting majority. They gave away the right to parent. They gave away free thought and independance. They broke the will to fight in there kids and lowered the standards for Americans. They stopped giving a shit and we have watched people go backwards for years. Now we are stuck with the spawn of people that cared less and its showing.

Why do you all think RP scares the shit out of everyone. They wont even think of touching him. They did early on and he ate them all for dinner. Now a total freeze of all things RP is in affect and its working pretty well.

Seriously I have lost faith in the American People. Do they really have no idea what the hell we are in for?

This is why democracies are horrible forms of government. Fifty-one percent of the people could be wrong/immoral/deceived on an issue or policy to be implemented in their government, while the 49% have to suffer whatever consequences come about from the 51%'s mistakes. Of course, America was never meant to be a democracy but a constitutional republic.

Put your faith where it belongs--in God (read my signature). He's the only hope we have for a free republic, not one man (Congressman Paul) nor one group of people ("We, the People").
