View Full Version : "Change" for America - Donation Idea

I just saw a credit card commercial about how pennies, dimes, nickels and quarters add up. What if we created a "Change Money Bomb" with everybody gathering their loose change around their cars and house and donating it to Ron Paul. I bet it could add up to at least a few hundred thousand or more. Plus it sounds good too, Change for America!

Any thoughts and anybody want to create a website?

I tried promoting it but no luck. everyone shot it down cuz of thr other money bombs. maybe now it will take off, if it gets spread around.

I can make new videos for it.

How many pledges have you gotten?

What do you think the best approach would be now? Just set it up as a "donate it any time you feel like it" or as a money bomb?

I had about 10 pledges on the 16th of dec. after that, I just let it die cuz no one really was interested. Maybe now though, people will get interested, the big bombs are over, and the campaign needs money in a big way.

I think the best way is to create a good email that can be forwarded to all the meetup groups in the country, I am not sure the best way to do that but I think that it is the most effective way to get the word out. Can anybody do that?

I'm going to bookmark this thread so I can keep bumping it up.

The mailing meetups is a good idea. There are a lot of them so it will take a whole bunch of folks to do it. Maybe by state?

We can set a change bomb date and I can edit those videos to reflect the new date It will take me a few days to get the changes done there. I have lots of projects at the moment. :)
