I had a discussion with a couple of women the other day which shows why this country is essentially f*cked. They were talking about the "rebate" and I stated that I hoped it didn't happen. Naturally, they had to ask me "why"? So I attempted to explain to them that there was only two ways that our government was going to "give"us this rebate. The first way would involve borrowing money from from foreign nations that our grandchildren would have to pay back with interest. The second would be to print the money out of thin air and force the price of everything we buy upwards. Naturally, being undereducated Americans who attended our laughable public schools - they didn't get it and couldn't wait for their "free" money. If that is the general consensus amongst out citizens, all is lost.
