[Update: we've got several thousands of letters ready to be mailed, just need stamps. Please chip in below.]

Hey everyone, we're down to the wire before New York's Feb 5th, primary and we are covering the entire Syracuse NY area. We're sending out thousands of letters to every voter in every one of the 450 precincts in our area.

WE NEED 10,000 MORE STAMPS!!!! The precinct leaders have already spent hundreds of dollars of our own money on stamps to get the several thousand letters out to voters. We still have a long way to go. Please donate a book of stamps ($0.41/each) and mail to me. Go to you local post office, purchase a book of stamps in any amount (what ever you can afford) and mail to my address below. Everyone of the stamps you send me is another almost guaranteed voter that will be turned.

We get a lot of positive feedback from the people we've already reached. We stuff the envelope with an amazing letter, that really turns peoples heads. And appropriate slim-jims. Although we've been hand addressing each envelope so far, we're switching gears onto printed labels, simply due to the fact that we want to cover as many people as we possibly can before the primary and time is running out. Its the letter that really turns people's heads. The letter is personal in nature where I introduce Dr. Paul. No other campaign is doing this, so we have 0 competition, but unless we reach those people they will vote for whoever the MSM tells them to. Its that simple. One of most involved people in our precinct leadership program just learned of Dr. Paul 3 weeks ago. There are still many many thousands of voters we need to reach.

So please don't wait and send in what ever first-class ($0.41) postage you can. Remember that everyone of those stamps is a potential voter. We will take care of the rest! We also go door to door, especially to retirement homes, and we wave signs few times a week even in below freezing weather.

Thank you, thank you, thank you guys!!! Keep it coming.

All the precinct leaders are screeming for more stamps. This morning I purchased 1000 stamps ($410) and will purchase another this afternoon. Tomorrow we will be cranking out about 3000 letters. This is central NY and Onondaga county (50K republican voters) is a heavy republican county. Easy win if we inform these voters, they are starved and undecided. They are an easy sway. Man, we're in full battle mode here in Syracuse, this is great!

My lists are in excel spreadsheet, combined, sorted and analyzed for greatest potential return in votes. I spend 3 days writing excel macros to do all this. So we are targeting the die hard conservatives, pro-life, pro-2nd amendment (lot of sports clubs around), pro-life conservatives. Most are undecided, we have 0 competition. We just need stamps.

(If anyone needs excel macros, let me know and I'll shoot'em your way to analyze the canvasing lists.)

I've been sending a lot to the official campaign, and need to buy some stuff for the new San Antonio grassroots office, but since I'm originally from central NY, I'll toss in $10.

Thank you guys. Please we need more.

I bought 1000 stamps today and will buy another 1000 tomorrow. Just gave out additional 2.5K letters to be stuffed (today and tomorrow) and I'm working on the next list of 4000 voters!!!! Stamps or money go like hotcakes! These personalized letters swing voters like hotcakes. Especially since this is unique republican host-spot in other wise democratic state of NY.

Stamps are expensive, im sorry i cant help.

I'm busy mailing out letters in my own district (19 yr old college student). I've got 100 stamps and 500 Republican voters (but thats probly closer to 400 seperate households).

You are awesome guys. Delaware I know your pain.

The stamps are expensive and when you add up all the other costs for a letter, it comes out exactly 0.50/letter. But right now that is the only way to reach massive amount of voters. We've been out sign waving for months, most people ignore you. When they get this awesome letter and the info from one of their neighbors they take a much different look. This is the only way to reach those voters. Even walking door to door, although the conversion is very high, doesn't amount to much because of the relative small number of voters that can be reached (hundreds instead of 20,000) and yes we are doing both. The feedback we've been getting is all very positive. Our goal is to take central New York by storm and we are doing it!!!!

We've got 2 working meetups scheduled for tonight, one at my house and the second at the other county's coordinator near downtown. Getting 1000 more stamps for tonight, the people at the post office think I'm nuts, LOL.

Look in the phone book. You should find mailing services. You can use their bulk mail stamps. A local one we are using charges .25 cents per letter with a 200 letter minimum.

I looked into it and it was cheaper, but there is no time for it. We have until Friday to send out the last letters or they won't make any difference after that. We also looked into PS discounts, and we could have gotten 3c savings for about $350 upfront. We calculated that we would break even at 30,000 mailings.

Just in case if you didn't know, you don't need a paypal account to make chipin donation.

In the lower left hand corner of the paypal page after you click on the chipin, there is an option to use a credit card without having an account, if you are planning on using a credit card.

Too bad you guys didn't register as a non-profit and volunteer to sort your own mail. Then you can send them for like 11 cents each I believe.
