This thread will be for posting the links to the ron paul meetup groups that HAVE the feb 1st money bomb on their calendar AND have sent out at least ONE message to the newsletter email so it can be seen on the "message board" for that specific meetup group.

What is needed to do
1. Sign up, suggest the meetup event and make sure it gets posted on the calendar as an EVENT so people can rsvp AND a message sent out to ALL members of that specific ron paul meetup group.

2. Post the link to the actual event page for EACH ron paul meetup group that has it on the calendar IN this thread so people will know to search for and locate OTHER meetup groups to JOIN, get the date on the calendar and email ALL members of that group.

I will be posting a complete master list of ALL event links for every meetup group that gets posted as well so we can keep track of them all. Join ron paul meetup groups with tons of members to help get the word to spread faster or hit the smaller lesser known ones. They all have active members who need to be made aware of the feb 1st money bomb day.

This is the easiest way to see who is willing to do some of the work to reach those meetup groups that need to be contacted. I will happily organize and weed out any dupes in this list. Keep me busy everyone!!!!! Each meetup group could potentially help raise tens of thousands a piece just by association so lets not assume everyone in each meetup group knows about this next money bomb.

To get started go to http://ronpaul.meetup.com and locate at least 10 ron paul meetup groups and join them and complete the 2 steps mentioned above.

It will be on the calendar itself, it would be an event that they rsvp just like we did with the mlk one. This time HOWEVER we need to actually get ALL of the meetup groups on board and with PROOF that they are on board. If your meetup group does not have it on the calendar then you better go and make it happen.

By all means lets see how many active ron paul supporters are willing to make sure that every meetup group has this on the calendar as an event AND have notified ALL of the members to make sure they rsvp + bring some guests ( we all need to locate 10 NEW DONATORS).

OK a few things are needed as well. Here is what we need so people can do this quickly.

1. a few different cut/paste cookie cutter scripts that can be sent as the message to the message board.
2. a few different cut/paste cookie cutter scripts that can be sent to the meetup group organizer to request a new event be added to the calendar.

Here is the one I threw together that I actually used for both the message to the message board AND to the meetup organizer to add the event to the calendar. I am not the best at wording things so if you have skills writing or I left something out please post a copy/paste for others to use when contacting meetup groups as well.

I think we can join 20 different ron paul meetup groups EACH so do what you can do to get the word out and I will happily post the results on the first post of this thread. Lets put our efforts where our money is. It takes more EFFORT then simply pulling out a credit card. We need to get tens of thousands of OTHERS to do it as well. Get out of your bubble, sign up for at least 10 different meetup groups and request the feb 1st money bomb be added to their calendar AND send a message to EACH message board of the meetups you join.

Once you submit for a calendar inclusion AND have sent at least ONE message to the message board post it in this thread. I will then post the meetup group link, calendar inclusion status AND link to the message that was sent to the meetup group so we KNOW it was done for THAT specific meetup group.

We cant be complaining on February 1st about not raising 5 million if we are not willing to bust ass to make it happen. I am ready to start checking and updating thousands of these meetup group calendars statuses all I am waiting for is YOU to get down to business and putting forth the effort.......

Also remember to POST in the message board as well as informing the meetup organizer. When you write on the message board it will be read by the members BUT if you only inform the organizer then it will only be them who have heard about it.

1. send a message to the ORGANIZER to get it on the calendar
2. send a message to the message board so their members will be informed as well even if it is NOT on the calendar yet.

check the links I have already done on the first post for an example. It shows the meetup group url, calendar (if it is posted) AND a link to the message I sent ON their message board.

If you are confused on this one please pm me about it...... I will put them on the main post once I see at least the message link and the meetup group url..... That will allow me to check back to see if they have put it on their calendar yet.

bilge, can you get the link to the actual group AND the link to the message on the message board you sent. That way I can add them to the list.

Keep em coming people, this is the ONLY way I can see us honestly knowing WHICH meetup groups ACTUALLY knows about this feb 1st money bomb. Tell others to help out with this as well. You never know how many MORE donators this effort will end up providing.

Cole - I will add those to the list right now..... thank you for getting involved and helping with this effort as well.

Unfortunately all I could do is post an event reminder to these groups. I can check back tomorrow to see if they posted the event. I need more help in Colorado though. I posted my limit of 25 event reminders to Colorado Meetups groups and only got about 2/3 done.

This thread is not to assume they are going to put them up though, not really an event reminder deal. We need to get the following information up. I cant really go through and try and locate cities and towns to check for them. If possible even if it is contacting less meetup groups go one by one getting the following information and posting that up.

Also those who want to go looking through the meetup groups locating ones that have the event on them ALREADY will be a huge help as well. What we want to do is have the masterlist now and if a message needs to get sent to their message board for instance then one of us can sign up for that specific group and send out the message.

If you have an hour or more to help that would be great. Anyone have tips on a possible method of searching the 1500+ meetup groups for the "money bomb" keyword possibly? or a way to search for the feb 1st event through ALL groups? Not sure if there is a function that can help but it never hurts to ask.

You probably won't see it on the individual calendars. We have a lot of people and groups to coordinate down here, we do it the way that works -- that includes a central calendar and local mailing lists. It probably looks weird but it does work. Yay for local "government".

Continue tossing the links on this thread and I will happily check them and add them to the ever growing list. Just remember that you need the following to post.

1. url of the meetup group.
2. url of the actual event on the specific meetup groups calendar
3. url of the message sent to the specific meetup group message board or newsletter email.

Just getting a total of meetup groups participating, you can see that each meetup group url has its own meetup group number in it. Not trying to complicate this by trying to keep the numbers in order.

Only point for this is to get a total count of ALL meetup groups that are active as far as having this event on their calendar or a message on their message board OR both.

So as of writing this there are 26 meetup groups with this event on either the calendar, message board or both.

I have added a bold notice at the top of the list itself to stop any confusion.

thank you for the help anewvoice, once you get confirmation of the different meetup groups actually adding it to the calendar OR you send a message to the message board or newsletter make sure and post it here so I can add each meetup group to the list on the first page of this thread. Here is a "quote" from a previous post I made so you can see what all is needed to make this work smoothly.

Dont assume that anyone will spread this message to anyone though, that is why I have set this up. Hold each meetup group accountable so we can really see who all actively is supporting this money bomb in the actual meetup groups. All that is needed is a calendar and message board inclusion and at most takes 3 minutes per meetup group so time can't be the excuse for any of them.

The 1068 and 975 meetup groups however can not be listed as they are private and I cant verify them. The other ones I can verify and have added them.

Remember also everyone to not only get feb 1st on the calendar but ALSO go to the "messages" link and leave a message about it as well so I can check for it as well. Not every meetup group member checks just the calendar OR the message board and can just see one or the other.

Getting the message to the message board OR newletter email address itself is a huge helper in making ALL members of a particular group aware of the date....

This thread will be for posting the links to the ron paul meetup groups that HAVE the feb 1st money bomb on their calendar AND have sent out at least ONE message to the newsletter email so it can be seen on the "message board" for that specific meetup group.

What is needed to do
1. Sign up, suggest the meetup event and make sure it gets posted on the calendar as an EVENT so people can rsvp AND a message sent out to ALL members of that specific ron paul meetup group.

2. Post the link to the actual event page for EACH ron paul meetup group that has it on the calendar IN this thread so people will know to search for and locate OTHER meetup groups to JOIN, get the date on the calendar and email ALL members of that group.

I will be posting a complete master list of ALL event links for every meetup group that gets posted as well so we can keep track of them all. Join ron paul meetup groups with tons of members to help get the word to spread faster or hit the smaller lesser known ones. They all have active members who need to be made aware of the feb 1st money bomb day.

This is the easiest way to see who is willing to do some of the work to reach those meetup groups that need to be contacted. I will happily organize and weed out any dupes in this list. Keep me busy everyone!!!!! Each meetup group could potentially help raise tens of thousands a piece just by association so lets not assume everyone in each meetup group knows about this next money bomb.

All you need to do is sign up for them, email the group admin asking for a calendar inclusion and then post a message in their message board or to the newsletter email they have.

I have timed it and it is well under 3 minutes to do all of the above per meetup group. Join 10+ meetup groups that do NOT have the feb 1st money bomb on the calendar and make them aware of this big day.

Keep up the good work everyone. I want to have a few hundred of these on the first post on this thread so we have a long way to go.

Try and sign up for the meetups with 1k members or more first so we can attract the most amount of possible people BUT getting the smaller groups can mean extra money for the money bomb as well.

Every meetup group is important EQUALLY but this is a group effort.

Can you honestly say you dont have an hour to set aside to potentially make thousands of ron paul supporters aware of this next money bomb?

Ron Paul needs 5 MORE million BY feb 5th so this is going to take more then just MY donation or YOURS but for us to locate OTHERS to donate with us as well.

10+ BRAND NEW DONATORS need to be found by EACH OF US by february 1st people.

It is a private meetup group so I cant confirm and add it to the list BUT happy meetup group 100 is going to participate in this effort as well even if I cant see the message board or the calendar. Either way, the more meetup groups we can get to get this on calendar even the private ones that "don't allow outsiders to view them" is STILL something that needs to get done.

At this point I'm not sure if I'm helping - but I sent messages to 25 organizers/groups nearby (Bay Area, CA) asking them to add the event if it wasn't already on their calendar. I'm new to this so I kinda need to know what else I can do to help! I kept the list of the ones I sent.

1562 Arapahoe County Meetup (51 members) has a Colorado Money bomb planned on Feb 1st as a welcoming of Ron Paul to Denver. Technically they have it planned.

I'm a bit disappointed, of the 25 meetups I contacted, only one has placed it on their calender. On a positive note, almost all of them have canvassing planned for that day.

I believe they are just going straight down that list as it is numbered on the ronpaul.meetup.com/about page once you scroll down all the way.

Either way you guys are starting to get me to spend time on this now which is what I wanted and remember we have 1500+ meetup groups to contact and get it on the calendar before Feb 1st so not really alot of time.

If there is a meetup group that you would like to join, contact about adding it to the calendar AND sending a message to their message board then do so. Dont worry about going out of order because even while we go in order in blocks of 1-10 and 11-20 and so forth there will be a % of groups that still do not list it.

You can just pick random ones, or the ones with the most members, the ones in your state and especially those that have already voted and want to do something now to continue helping this fight.

Keep up the hard work because from what I can tell the meetup groups can average around 50-100 members each and that is usually the ACTIVE supporters who want to sign up for the meetups and who knows how many people locally they have or will tell about feb 1st as well.

There are many people who go to these meetups who do not "live online" and need the calendar when they go to their meetups to be brought up so they can be updated as well.

For those who want to help but are confused on the order in which people are signing up and contacting meetup groups, dont worry about it and just attack any of them. We have 1500+ to deal with so find some and get to it.

Easiest way to see if the group is worth contacting is by checking their calendar and if feb 1st is not on there then you need to get them to get it on there a.s.a.p.

All I have been doing is this

Remember that the group admin will not automatically add it and it does take a couple days. Just do the footwork and post them up here once you have at least contacted them and posted a message. I will then check back on them and once I see a calendar addition I toss them on the master list as well.

If you have at least the url of the group, the url of the message on the message board then POST IT HERE. If you did ask for the calendar addition then they will odds are get it up in time. If you look at the master list as well, I have it where if the group didn't have it on the calendar I have a "contact them and get it on there" which OTHER members here are doing as well to bug em a bit to get it on there.

We dont have a ton of time left to get this done so those who act fast on getting it listed on the calendar GREAT but others might not even check their messages by Feb 1st BUT if you sent out at least the message then the MEMBERS themselves will be made aware.

1. find a meetup group that doesn't have it on calendar
2. sign up for that meetup group
3. message the message board
4. go to the calendar page and click the "suggest an event" link and use that form to notify the admin.

I will be going through this entire thread seeing which ones have not been added and need to.

We need help with this people. If you seriously do not have time to sign up for a couple meetups then are you really putting forth a real effort?

There are a ton of meetup groups who have not even heard about this feb 1st money bomb and they need to be contacted.....

Even my OWN meetup group just recently put it on the calendar and guess what happened? More and more people are r.s.v.p.-ing to donate. It works so come and help.

The next money bomb will be in April giving us around 2 months to fully expose it and advertise it BUT is not going to be discussed until AFTER super tuesday.

too many people are wanting to get the next day in a couple weeks and we all know how that goes.

We will be able to give money daily and to the ron paul payday and THEN have a very advertised money bomb with a nice 2 month lead time to really build a LARGE donation pool. Best way to do things as long as no one tries to jump the gun again and toss 3-5 money bombs around the same week lol. crazy stuff.

Keep it up everyone, I need to be workin ALOT harder making this list larger, sign up for some meetup groups that do not have the feb 1st money bomb on the calendar and get it on it. All the more meetup groups we can contact about this the better. Many do not know about the money bombs UNLESS it comes through their meetup calendar so lets make sure that happens.

Feb 1st money bomb = You donating $51+ AND finding 10 BRAND NEW donators to join you!

I even got hucksters now donating WITH US tomorrow as well. Talk about some solid support coming our way from a great source. People are waking up finally now lets show them how powerful this grass roots effort really is.
